2000 Cadries with my Seasonal alt for 30 mins.... 11 caphras, 30+ dust

500 energy with kama blessing and energy buff with 1500 gathering mastery chopping wood for 4 hours....10 caphras, 100 dust.

Like why even bother with it lol. 

Because gathering gives you materials other that just caphras?  You do know logs are needed to make utensils...right?  And stone from mining too.  Oh and meat and blood is used for cooking and alchemy.  And while sharps are readily available on the market, hards not so much.  

Ppl still do cooking and alchemy? Why?  Red Orcs hello.  Also if you grind at Cadries for 4 hours you can get more silver than chopping wood or mining rocks.  Hand's down.

The only reason gathering is profitable was bec of the caphras and dust.  But now that you can get these 2 items at a better drop rate by killing 1 hit mobs at Valencia, why bother gathering, especially Logging/Mining/Tanning.

Ever heard of different gameplay styles and tastes. Not everyone enjoys bashing braindead mobs.

Besides, your title is a blatant lie: it should read "gathering is less profitable than grinding currently".

If gathering was actually dead, there wouldn't be 1k orders on energy pots at any given time.

Gathering is dead, Ive been saying this ever since the caphras combat change. 

Ive even done a 6 chapter meme series on it. 7 coming soon. 

Life skills and Mastery effectivness need reworks, also compared to progress by classic PVE, Life skill income and gear progress is quite slow and lvling up Goathering especialy driving mek crazy.

Im curently M22 and 577 Energy with some buffs including Value Pack, Kama and Old Moon+ some consumables giving mek about 10-15% on Mining Rocks for next lvl, whyle profit from Fairy dust is 5-15M, Caphras 10-20, Dust 60-120 maybe.

I would say PvE way to profiting for how simple it is compared to profit from Life skills where we need combine at least 2 Life skills to actualy do profit and most of Life skills are barely worth doin now.

Also is it even worth writing on those forums?

Will PA staff sometimes come read it and give a reply?

PA staf isn't of the talkative kind, but experience showed counteless times that they take feedback into consideration.

Lifeskill is meta but only before 261k with lootscrolls.

This invest costs you only 2bil but can get close to 100m/h if use alts for energy. After this I would not invest to lifeskill especially considered farming energy takes long time and at max lvl quite useless. Also our seasonal rewards have gave us so far 245ap + 11 = 256ap for free. 

So I agree that lifeskilling = pure garbage. I invested everything on my grinding gear while lifeskilling and then sold all my lifeskill gear. 

Though in grinding you need loot scrolls and you need kama blessing for lifeskilling, so can also combine both ways to grind if you want same some if dont p2w.

Yes. Honestly once you hit guru cooking, stop lifeskilling and just buy meals for imperials.
