in medieval times we have our mages archers and other ranged dps right in the middle of the battle field and are told to aoe anything and everything around them or in front of them, while our marines and other melee rambo troops stand on the outsides waiting for someone to flank them for a chance at 1v1.
medevil warfare at its finest

Besides, in case you haven't noticed, BDO universe takes place in a medieval setting: horses, matchlocks etc, just saying.

A fantasy world with medieval setting. A world in which shields (as in any other game) are poorly used for example and there are overweight big-a.. looking greatsword requiring superhuman strenght to carry. Yes. I am picturing the warrior in particular. :) The medieval setting could be better. :/ Here are some examples of what medieval warfare should be like(from European perspective). And BTW. Magic never existed in medieval times. ;)
