they coulda just made other item x everyone already has negate the ghillie effect and make it put nameplate above their heads.... lets say normal pearl costume set effect... or those glasses.... or some pet skill or horse flute..... or anything really. this way ghillie is the same, other item just counters it. EZ. 

Ah. The camouflage problem(a.k.a ghillie suits). Hate me if you want, call me whatever you like, but I am going to type this here:

You wanted the ghillie to be er… ehem… Nerfed. A change came with showing the default nameplate“Unknown adventurer”. You wanted this. Good job, congrats. However this change was a short sighted decision. Nothing ever comes without a conscequence. Nobody ever thought about looking from a different perspective. Ask yourselves the following: “What if I had a ghillie suit myself(from x amount of time period)? How is it going to function after that?”

I didn’t read all of the suggestions on the forums in the past, but if I am to guess all of you did or at least tried to solve a problem and perhaps ,if not all many of you were stopping at one decision from only a single perspective. After the ghillie suits had a default nameplate, this was like showing a gigantic arrow above one’s head, which can be seen from kilometers away. “Hey! Look at me! I am right here!” And this is what is happening, the ghillie suit is not considered as a camouflage anymore.

What is a “camouflage”?
-the disguising of military personnel, equipment, and installations by painting or covering them to make them blend in with their surroundings.
-hide or disguise the presence of (a person, animal, or object) by means of camouflage.
It’s function is to conceal, not make you easier to see by another. In other words-harder to spot. And that is the whole idea of the camo! Get it?!

Now this change is getting reverted. Because many players complained, that they gave their own money for one thing that functions as intended. If it’s a damaged product or it’s something different and doing something different from what they want, even I wouldn’t even buy it at all! You didn’t pay to get a ghillie, because you don’t want it. All right. But what about those that have it? They spent their money on it. And now it doesn’t function as intended! Again. It’s like having a big arrows on top of their heads, pointing at them! This is completely broken and useless! It’s not worth anything! They have the right to ask for refunds(even if they won't get them sadly). And I am well aware that it won’t be possible! This was a big scam for them!

If I were you, I would look for a different answer somewhere else. I will keep this to myself for now, because I highly doubt you would try to see reason(which could benefit both parties with and without ghillies), considering that every anti-ghillie topic is a comedy show about who is an incompetent crybaby or has a big ego from/about every misfortune or w/e.

I suggest adding invisibilty to ghillie then it will work as advertised. Ppl complaining there is a solution get your own ghillie and problem solved

You got 4 years worth of use or however much time you had it for. Before they backtracked on this, the costume still functioned as advertised, you were still anonymus. You were just salty that it did not give you an edge like before since that is the real reason you bought it in the first place. Disgusting.
