Hi All,
I would like to know if the Gotha Rensa premium costume (or any older single piece costume) is ever going to be rehauled for dye channels or split into multiple parts so the dye channels make sense?
It is by far one of the most beautiful skins ever released, but as it stands now, the dye channels are so poorly done it's nearly impossible to change the color scheme of the set because many of the parts are unaffected by the dye channels throwing off all attempts to change the theme from white.
Parts unaffected by any dye channel:
Connecting chains and collar remain silver regardless of whatever the main metal pieces are dyed to.
White branches on helm
Blue leaves on wrist
Waste fur is not tied to helm fur but the waste leather and another set of branches which makes it an ugly mess if you try to change the color as all 3 aspects should be split or follow the dye channels of like parks (leather for top leather) (branches for wrist branches and possible helm branches) and (fur on same dye channel as helm fur)
Horns are also tied to helm fur which is bad
The modding community for Skyrim and other games have redesigned it as well, as it's so popular, I attached are some sample pictures of one of those mods showing the true potential of the dye channels properly executed.
All that being said, I was wondering if such an overhaul to the actual original artwork would ever be implemented and dye channels updated/corrected to be more sensible and grouped up with matching parts corresponding to the same channel or split up like the Gotha Rensa Barbarian skin (also an amazing skin) which is multi-parted so it can be dyed neatly and cleanly rather than only a flat white possibility due to the limitations of just one bulk outfit with limited channel options.
All thoughts and feedback are welcome but I know a few classes which suffer from the dated "grouped outfit" syndrome with a rushed dye channel alotment and would be nice to see them get some updated treatment. May also give them a resurgence in purchases and take less effort than designing new outfits.
the devs are working on splitting older costumes into more parts, not sure about the dye part tho, a good idea but probably not being worked on.

Oh I must of missed this notice, was it mentioned in the ball news or something? Do you have a link you can reference?
oh yay, that is good news :) thank you again for clarity.
