I watched the tuvala thing and found it hilarious how even the casters had desyncs.
Yeah there was a match that lasted like 23s or what including the walking kek.
Unless they make these equalized or meaningful rewards. This type of content will be dead after one month of release if that.
I mean why would I subject myself to a fight where I have a dulled wooden sword while others have Abrams Main Battle tanks. No thank you. I will just take myself to PvP in equalized PvP in a eSport title, ESO, GW2, or Swords of Legends Online. Where I can have a fun and impactful PvP match.

Battle arena rewards are so great, which explains why people constantly use it.

Sarcasm aside, if you're not a skill carried type of gamer, you can always attend node wars, they're heavily capped and regulated nowadays, to the point where new players and "players" who have been creeping around for years without having achieved anything, can participate.
The downside is you need to be sociable enough for a guild to accept you in their regular or WH roster.
Who says you have to play a meta class? There are currently class reboots being planned, so you should hope that most classes are getting fixed.
If you think such content will be DOA...they shouldnt bring ANY new content...if you decline anything new before it was even released.
If you watch battle arenas, completely full, I could definetely think that this kind of ranked pvp would have some good participation, if designed well and not a complete waste of time money wise.
I agree. I believe queueable PvP content with friends is what BDO needs.
Arenas are cool. But personally, what I'd like to see alongside normal arena (like a 1v1, or 3v3), is a queueable group PvP mode, where we can queue up with friends on the same team, that has objectives on the map. Maybe like a mode similar to a King-of-the-Hill, kinda like Domination mode in Call of Duty. Sounds fun.
Most importantly, though, to me, is being able to queue up in the same party with friends.

Tbh i haven't watched all of it but the one i watched i think was the final so they basically ran and fished for cc. They were good players but the game really doesn't have esport material in it.
Well what else can we do except being optimistic. If we honstely dont think stuff is getting better, we could just all quit. But we are still here discussing...so you have some kind of trust too. :-)
