Hello guys. Just a random thought
We have a total of
-
+7 AP
-
+6 DP
From adventure journals, and we all know how important is to get them completed ASAP.
But why can't we have a journal that gives
-
+5 Increase in all mastery
-
+10 Increase in all mastery
-
+25 ... or so
Could be too much? I mean those journals help a lot in reaching some brackets and lifeskills like gathering/cooking could really benefit from a little bit of this, expecially at high levels where few extra mastery points takes a lot of time and effort.
idk, opinions?
Good idea
it would be awesome if it gets implemented to help life skillers push new brackets
good idea but pls keep the dude who made herald journals out of this.
A Life Skill oriented Adv Journal would be great but I wonder if rewards that offer something a bit more unique and/or quality of life wouldn't be more interesting?
For examples on step rewards:
A) Reduce cooking utensil durability cost
B) Improve water efficiency (Farming) by either increasing the water cap, improving water gained when watering or both.
C) Removes all the random low-quality rewards from Alchemy procs that can be bought from vendor and replaces them with things that can't.
D) You can now Harpoon fish from large ships (sailboats etc).
E) Increase the amount of Skill XP your horses gain when learning new skills by some percent.
F) Gain some current resistance (reducing the negative impact currents have when sailing)
G) Increase Barter points while also adding a display, showing how many barters left until next Special Barter.
H) Trade is up for a rework so skipping that one for now.
I) No idea what I'd like to see from hunting.
J) After successful gathering, gain a speed buff for 10s.
K) You can now keep processing until you're at weight limit +x%.
Perhaps it could all fit into one journal or each life skill could have it's own journal with multiple challenges, offering Quality of Life bonuses or changes? One could also make multiple journals, focused on one life skill each, offering various QoL and/or misc changes combined with targeted mastery bonuses and if all are completed a final journal would unlock with devs know what type of bonuses?
+1
Great idea.
Now only if PA would show any signs that life-skilling is important to them.
i like the idea
but now welcome to the list of brilliant idea that will be ignored by PA

Utensil durability reduction for cooking will be 100% useless
As a lifeskiller I have no reasons to touch the journal yet. I'm doing perfectly fine without it. If they added in perks for lifeskillers, I'd be more inclined to doing them. I like this idea.

Well some jornals give extra inventory space to all characters, which is good for lifeskiller too.
