I guess FFXIV doesn't exist ah? LEL Alot of players from other MMOs both Tab and Action combat MMOs are moving over to FFXIV these days. Unless New World provides something interesting, those players too will more than likely move to FFXIV. Like or not the demand for a good MMO is still there. There are just very few corporations, that are willing to invest in making one.
Also on another note FFXIV is superior to WoW in almost every catagory. Visuals, amount of content, story, combat, crafting system, and more. In my opinon the only thing that WoW currently does better than FFXIV is PvP. But lets be honest PvP genres have better PvP interactions than any MMO ever made.
Untill FFXIV and ESO falls, than the MMO genre has not died.
Yeah FFXIV is really hyped by the new generation wowhaters newdays... by the same people, who back then, when wow started it's down fall licked blizzard's ass, when the actually decent players started to leave cause the issues.
Now, after nearly a decade, when only the trash remained, they, jsut a "little" late, also seem to understand that the game is turning to shit, try to flee, but that hardly mean anything at this point. Those players are part of the case why wow ended up being shit. If they would've standup at the right time instead of being mindless drones, then we would've not reached to this level...
But anyway, FF14 isn't better than wow. At any given time, if you check the top10 revenue PC game wow is (still) in the top 10, while FF14 isn't. Just cause many drones followed asmon, that hardly change anything on the grand scale.
Yes FF14 have it's pros, if you're a ERP player or similar, that game is better for you. But in everything else that game is inferrior to wow, heck even it's graphics looks outdated, even compared to wow, which is pathetic tbh. (no moded FF14 do not counts)
It's really just to say that we don't have to pay for the buff, but in reality it's really binding to go to the desert to get the buff and to come back, it takes 30 min of play.
The string is thick and I'm starting to tell myself that this game really lacks honesty in playing on words.
I see no play on words.
Getting to a villa does not take 30 minutes.

Of course it doesn't take 30 minutes but you can't expect "social medias" generation to provide correct statements.
The tent is just something everyone should buy, you have to be an idiot to not get at least that. Being able to purchase potions, repair, and be able to utilize the villa buffs is silly to go without. It doesn't expire, it goes on sale all the time, I got my for 2300 pearls.
Nothing should be a 'should' buy.
Nothing should be a 'should' buy.
Depends. If a player really enjoys BDO, the tent is a no brainer. Kind of like some nice car seat covers, or a cushion for your computer chair. If you gonna be sitting in them for a good amount of time, you "should" buy things to make it more comfortable. Better than sitting on an uncomfotable surface on a thing you'll be sitting on a lot.
Basically what Franklins is saying.
There is a 7 day tent you can make for repairs, potions, PvE buff, and drop rate buffs. Naphart Campsite allows you to use Villa buffs. Saving you time and effort. And time and effort is really all it saves, so camp is a convenience item. But like the cushion example, if you enjoy BDO and plan on playing it a lot, buy the cushion. Or don't, but it will make the seat much more comfortable.

Do car manifacturers intentionally make car seats uncomfortable in order to sell more pillows? Leather seats maybe although those are more for durability and easier to clean. The car manufacturers didnt create the cars with the intent to sell pillows at least.

Not yet at least lol. And you will have people like these gobbling it up. (the car industry has its own shitty quirks and you still have people defending x brand but nvm that)

The Tent makes it more comfortable / more appealing / more "playable". You buy a stock car. Then you put on a muffler, spoiler, tint, sound system, etc. You don't "need" those things for the car to drive, but it you do, it'll make the drive more pleasurable. Not sure what so hard to understand.
"Intentionally made to be uncomfortable". Bruh. I been going back and forth to Villas from Velia forever - even after Tent was released, I didn't buy one for a few months. Like 5 months of going back and forth to Villa to buff up before Node War or buffing up before long RBF sessions. Whether or not it was "intentionally" made this way or not, I mean, whatever, you guys wanna cry about it. Not like its gonna change. You either go back and forth like I did, buy a tent when it's on sale, or just keep complaining, I guess.
Again, Naphart Tent is super QoL and makes them money, I'm pretty sure most players don't even care. You could support the game you play, but whatever floats your boat. I bought the Tent to make my gaming experience more comfortable, and I don't mind paying for things in hobbies I enjoy.
PVP in this game is pointless lol just swap servers or go melt some ores and come back later. Let the mad sweaty 24/7 grinders enjoy grinding in a circle forever till the servers shut down.
