Well, I haven't noticed this change untill I tried to use beast's power while sprinting and instead of SA dash my char did ww.

I'm playing succession since it was released so can't really tell about if it's breaking any combos in awa, but for me it is unnecessary and annoying change that shouldn't have been implemented.

The new combo key input is a broken mess. I believe it is done intentionally to make people who main Tamer to quit. Instead of spamming ↑↑, you have to hold ↑ & spam shift to get the evasion skill. You can still use the old method which is more intuitive.

The added ↑+shift is too intrusive to be usable. I often use ↑+Shift+C to do a frontal Guard swap. Unlike the simple C, you can aim at the direction you want the frontal guard. With the newly added ↑+Shift, I randomly hop instead of doing a frontal guard. Obviously, I get trolled by a CC when doing PVP.

Seems like controller (console) and keyboard + mouse differences didn't dawn on whoever dev was in charge of the change. Seems like a QoL if you use a controller
