I build mine in a shop, as needed, I don't think this change will affect me at all. Maybe if I was selling them in the CM, the price and demand might drop? Don't have a freak out about it.
Have fun!
How about you keep being you and not contribute anything of value please?
Okay thanks
said literally by the guy wich only contribution is to criticize others in a videogame forum!! oh the hypocrisy!! LOL
Its a QoL update.... not a buff.... live with it...
he will live with it, but that doesnt mean he cannot be critic about it, you sheep.
What is OP complaining about? Im happy with the change, but will give them no credit, cuz it was way overdue
I know righ? This one of the best changes for immersion I have seen to date. Like literally, I forgot what the floors in my home looked like because of all the stoves and alchemy tools I had blanketed throughout. I'm very happy PA decided to do this.
As I said above on #11, it sure didn't change much for me. Tonight my Advanced Cooking Utensil ran out 0/900. Sent my worker to make me a new one and about 90 minutes later, it was completed.
I thought I would give this a try ... the instructions are clear as mud.
But here is what you really do;
1. Pick up the new cooker (advanced or intermediate) from your storage.
2. I was in Heidel, so I took it to Constante in the tavern, where an "Exchange" option appears.
3. Exchange the new cooker for a repair kit.
4. Return home and while looking at the old cooker, press F5 to use the kit.
Wow! That was a lot more effort than needed. All I did in the past, was walk the new cooker in and toss the old one out. I see this is suppose to be a QoL change, but I found the instructions will confuse most people. I have no real need, as I don't run off a mess of cookers, and store them in the attic. The tool is a straight up even trade. I think this is my last advanced cooker for a while, I can buy the cheap 1K models from Constante. They have 100 uses, I don't do a lot of AFK cooking these days. I own the 3 story loft above the tavern, so I have a short trip to the tavern when I run out. I don't sell these in the CM, as they only fetch one million silver, and the amount of work put in is not worth selling. I am glad people are cleaning house with this change, but I was right, it will not affect me at all.
Have fun!
I think it's a good QoL improvement. Tbh I don't understand the complaint?
The QoL change only addressed two of four major complaints. Replacing utensils and storage usage. The change did not address the availability of of utensils, or the ability to transport utensils.
The availability of utensils is way down because the materials use to create them costs more than they can be sold for on the CM. The ability to transport is also a problem, because unless you cook in the city you get the supreme tools from it is tedious to get the utensil or repair kit to the city you cook and turn in your imperial boxes in.
This change would be like someone saying they feel through the ice and are drowning, and the solution was to give them a towel while not addressing the drowning or freezing to death part of the problem.
It would took them literately 10 seconds to fix the availability by adjusting the max market price, but that would require certain level of competence to do.

Cluelessness at its finest as usual. The best part is *you* mentionning competence ROFL.
