I was hoping to enhance my gear to PEN before the season ended and now I wont be able to do it by wednesday. PA have decided were not having enough fun whith Summer Season so theyre ending it early. Why? Oh Im sure they have anothrr character class lined up and ready for us to spend our money on so theyre pushing it out early. So what about my PEN gear? Why havent I done it already. Well I was hoping to go to Antoraxxian to get the Black Tide gems but no one in chat wanted to do Antoraxxian. I decided I was going to just get PEN on my last 2 piece of gear I need to upgrade by doing the quest but since you can only enter Antoraxin once per week (Who teh hell thought of that studpid idea) Im screwed. But hey, I havent played for the last 3 weeks any way. Im sick of BDO. I just wanted to get a full set of PEN and not play again. But PA went and fucked the playerbase yet again. so Im done.

My buddy started like a week or two ago and is 7/13 PEN Tuvala and only needs to finish his earring to be done...

The enhancement success changes are huge and it was not better to let players spend more time and FS before this change.

If they didn't choose to announce it, players would have complained at the beginning of the next season instead, and they would be legitimate to do it. Ending the current season early to begin the next one with new rules is better, it does not catch players off-guards, let them plan the next steps, keep FS, save money and so on.

In the recent letter that they posted, PA made it clear that they wanted to end the season early in order to implement changes based on player feedback - like how they're going to make enhancing Tuvala gear easier and give us the opportunity to convert a full set of Tuvala gear to boss gear. It's certainly possible that they have other reasons, but they're starting the next season immediately and are implementing changes that are clearly at least partially being done because of various player complaints about the difficulty of enhancing Tuvala gear and the difficulty of getting past PEN Tuvala post-season.

Personally, I would have preferred it had they just waited until the original end of the season before starting a new one with the changes (it's going to be a mad dash for me to get PEN Tuvala in time), but PA has been changing their plans in a number of ways over the past month or so after there was an in-game protest in Korea (e.g. they pushed up the class reboots because of it). They seem to be a bit desperate to make changes that will keep players happy and in the game. And in that desperation, they apparently decided that it would be better to end the current season sooner so that they could get some of their planned changes to us sooner. On some level, that really sucks, but PA is at least attempting to make changes based on player feedback. So, it's not all bad.

Well I popped on a 100 FS scroll yesterday. With my remaining Cron stones. And even at 100FS I couldnt PEN my helmet in 3 tries using up my last remaining crons. If I try again and fail which I no doubtidly will, It will go down to TRI, and then my 100 FS will be wasted trying to get it back to TET. I hate enhancing in BDO and this is why. Oh and if I do get 1 Black Tides crystal before Wednesday my 100FS will be wasted on that even though its a 100% chance. Gees PA couldnt make enhancing any shittier.
