Nobody want easier, faster, now.
We want thoughtful system. And what did we get? Change for even worse. We are still wasting time on worthless zones. And still 280 ap palyer vs 180 ap player.
I will now go there on purpose and kill "someone else" mobs (archer is epic to one shot many trash mobs per second) and wait for other player to kill me to send him to jail. You want toxic, ok, you will get it.
Somehow I'm not worried about an archer on the forums crying about a pity pots.... 🤣

You need drop items with extreme small drop ratio (0,005%) related to a specific zone and even specific mobs (so only 1 mob per 7-10 mobs have 0,005% chance for drop).

Addition "mini treasure parts". You need 100 and you can exchange for potion parts.

This "mini treasure parts" are also related to a specific zone. Same zones as potions parts drop!
Effect: big problem will now turn into a giant problem. Thousands of gamers tempted by the chance to earn these infinity pots from "mini treasure parts" will appear in these zones and we will have it forever this "toxic zones".
But .... that's not all.
1. They also change current infinity potions part to [Ancient] infinity potion parts.
2. They added time limited quest (October 6). These quests give you option to "brand" infinity potions same as PEN items. So if you have 0, 1 or 2 infinity potions part? F. you. Now you have zero chance for "brand" (you can only "brand" [Ancient] infinity potion or already owned infinity potions, you can't brand infinity potion from "mini treasure parts") .
1. At that time, you have no chance of getting all the parts.
2. As you read above, there will be thousands of people in the drop zones.
3. The new season is starting so it's a pity to "skip" it.
Did we want a new "progressive" system? Yes, but not like this!
"Mini treasure parts" should drop everywhere, not only in specific zones.

You just can't please some people!
I'm very happy with this change. It has actually motivated me to go and grind again for the pots, because I can now see progress as I drop the smaller items. It was much easier in my mind grinding the Lungs, since the 100 leaves you need for it you could see add to the final count - rather than grinding into the void for something that may never drop.
I have pretty terrible rng and I am averaging 1 drop per hour at Protty. Considering my Blood Wolf piece took me 150 hours pre-update - I consider that a win!

He wants a private server. Where he can play alone and not deal with PvP, since according to him, PvP is just toxic period.
The new inf. pot system now gives players realistic expectations whne grinding for it, like Clear states above. Personally, I wish PA made it like this from the start, but at least they changed it. OP complained about the original design to get inf. pot, and now, is still complaining about the new one, which is much easier and a player can set realistic goals on when to get one. Unlike before where it was 100% RNG, now, you can farm the smaller pieces to guarantee a pot piece. I won't be grinding for it anytime soon, but it's nice to know it's there!

While on this topic ... does anyone know if those new drops can be obtained from any mob in the area or just specific mobs like it was now?
For example, do only Shamans drop those new items or also other mobs around him?

Where do we get Everlasting Water folks?, Hopefully its not one of those obscure crap that god knows where the NPC is.

Merindora in Grána gives you the Everlasting Water if you have in your inventory some of the parts of the infinite potion.

Another ilusion for people that they think its easier now.. Anyway if you would put all effort farming it . Probably you would still farming it. I have potion hp and i can say its really the worst farming exprince in BDo. Flustration is maxed while farming it. So i can see why you are so angry about those changes. If they would make system like 100k mobs kill per one pice 100% drop i would call it fair at the end.

Grind is not a problem. Place when you play - thats the problem. How to move forward eg. do obsidian black star if you still need play at bloody wolfs.
So nothing has changed: you want treasures = you still need grind same unprofitable zones.
Second: why I need grind on mobs?
Which is why I was suggesting that these "mini treasure parts" should be available everywhere: mobs drops, gathering, fishing, even bartering.
Collect 100 "mini treasure part" and exchange for any treasure part.
Problem solved.
But no, PA "knows better".
I waited for this system, that was the only thing that kept me playing and they (PA) f. it up. Now it's totally pointless trying to collect it.
This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.
