I'm pretty excited for both of these features to come but other than what was announced at the Heidel ball, do we know when they are expected to release these things? I'm not sure where people get information before they are announced on this website but I'm hoping someone has a clue.

The development schedule has changed since the Heidel Ball. They have currently moved away from developing new content and focused more on the class reboots, improving the barrier of entry for new adventurers and some other quality of life adjustments. 

Now that doesn't mean various content that is almost finished won't be released once localisation etc has been completed (I believe mansions, or a mansion falls under this umbrella). But there has been zero mention of the Caravan/Trade update, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Which is a shame, because it was looking (at least visual-wise) very interesting. 

The mansions are in global labs, but I don't know what they have left to do before they move them into the regular game. The letter PA put out at the beginning of the month indicated that they'd be released whenever they were ready but gave no timeframe. I believe that the trade stuff is still supposed to be coming eventually, but after an in-game protest in Korea a couple of months ago, PA rearranged their schedule to focus on fixing existing content over new content, which included focusing on the class reworks and moving that up. Ending the summer season early and creating season+ was part of that as well, since it's an attempt to address complaints about how hard it is to enhance Tuvala and how hard it is to progress once the season ends. As a result of all of this, new content in general has been pushed back, and most of what we knew about the schedule went out the window (not that PA has generally been all that precise or strict with any schedules they give us ahead of time anyway). And PA has given us very little information about when anything would be ready beyond that it would be released when it was ready. They've indicated that the class reworks should be released at the end of October, and they've announced that the new way to get PEN boss gear will be released next week, but beyond that, it's all vague.

Personally, I suggest that you just wait for it and not worry about it. It'll all come when it comes, and PA has never been very good about sticking to a schedule anyway even when they give one, and for the most part, at this point, they really haven't given one.

instead, you can also wait for them to finish it and give it real interest.

Mansons are in KR. The only real reason one can see why they not released it in west is:

1, they finding a way to monetize it

2, it was a failure in the KR and trying to adjust it

Either way it's just a literately recycled residence (as expected), just on a different name, so IDK what would change with that? Yes it's larger and some RP palyers will like that, but that's all really.

Well, everything that PA has said about them sounded pretty useless. They're just bigger residences that cost silver in addition to CP, and IIRC, PA initially made it so that you were going to have to buy a whole different type of furniture to put in there. I have heard literally nothing about them that sounded useful. They definitely just seem like something for the RPers. As it is, I spend minimal CP on residences, because CP is far too precious to waste on something that just looks nice. The only reason that I have two residences rather than one is because of how little storage each town has, and there's barely enough to do cooking or alchemy in a single town, let alone both. If they want more money out of me, they'd do better doing something like doubling the maximum size of town storage than doing anything to residences. And at 5 CP, mansions would have to do a lot more than be a larger residence for me to even consider them worth spending CP on. I'm not surprised in the least if the folks in KR think that they're junk.
