Lets take a good look at just how similar DFS is to Karma Bombing.

I wanted the spot, everywhere was crowded.  It was the premium spot.

That's why I said DFS and when they refused I tried to mob feed them.

That's why I Karma Bombed them, the server was congested and I wanted the spot.

In this case BOTH players are doing the SAME thing just using different tactics

I believe the strongest deserve the spot and that's the way the game was designed.

My opponent refused to duel so I attempted to kill them.  I'm stronger so I deserve the spot.

I thought I could out last my opponent.  I could endure more and play smarter to take the spot.

Once again both players have the SAME mentality, but use different tactics.

Notice I'm not really talking about mutually accepted duels.  I'm talking about the mentality and actions of players who attempt to PK and mob feed.  In nearly every circumstance they are identical.

In ALL cases one player is trying to impose upon another

In ALL cases there is no consideration given to other players

In ALL cases each player is doing what they feel is effective to achieve their goal.

So there has to be some consistency here.  Either BOTH are bad or neither is bad.  If either is unwanted BOTH are unwanted.

This happened to me in Hystria yesterday...

Three rooms empty, with no one around but then somebody enters and the first text he said was "dps".
Obviously, as Shai, I'm not going to fight, so I moved to other empty room... and 2 minutes later that same player enters this new room and this time he don't ask for a duel, just type "My Spot".
Again, I moved to other room near... and again 5 minutes later the same happens... this time the phrase was longer..."im extending the rota".

So... It is possible for a single player to own three rooms and empty them of monsters before they spawn again?
This scheme can be easily changed by partying but right now there is no a good reason to do it...

The problem right now is that players can't coexist in the same place in a multiplayer game.
We need to incentivize cooperation and partying instead of loneliness play in a online game, and not seize our gear everytime you want a spot taken.

Maybe, adding buffs to a party (EXP or drop... example: +1% per player in party) with limitations to evade the abuse of the system, like only providing such buffs and bonuses depending on the closeness of the members...
And no... Mobs with more defense and that take longer to be killed is not a good way to incentivize parties (as shown in Elvia).

Anyways... this game requires a better way to approach cooperation instead of a toxic ingame socialization, after all... it's an online game.

You say it, "the strongest deserve the spot" so force PK if u cant handle the karma ur not strong enough, it means u dont deserve it.

People have been asking for group grind content for 5 years now PA hasn't listen or show interest in doing it than they sure as well won't now. This just the sad reality of the matter which makes zero sense when they also say they aim to balance the game around group PVP but they discourage group PVE which than results in enouraged 1v1 PVP for grind spots which completely contradicts their design of balancing the game around group PVP.

Again I know I and many others have posted this 1000 times now but I'll gladely post it 10000 more. The strongest doesn't deserve the spot because this mind sets is basically saying if you play a dogshit class or your gear not above 550 GS than you should just uninstall BDO and play a different game because that what saying this means. It saying if your not vet player than you shouldn't be allowed to play the game. Which is just flawed logic if you want an MMORPG to have a health playerbase.

Do you know what protects players with lower gear score from higher players "taking over their spots"?  It's the fact that the lower grind spots don't give the higher geared players enough income to justify them even being there.  99.9% of the time if the lower geared player goes to a gear appropriate grind spot they will make the same if not more silver there than if they try to go to the "higher geared" spots too early.  

But lower grind spots drop things like compass piece, map piece, pot piece. Soooo ya there end game players grinding low geared spots. These are also all spots that discourage group grinding soo ya.
