Funny even on Planetside 2 topics you see people demanding the devs to remove PVP, but sug ideas contradicts the game's core design, same goes for Mortal Online. Meanwhile BDO only has PVP because the devs still think they have a chance to save the garbage that they call PVP balance in this game. But really removing PVP wouldn't contradict any part of why PA made this game, because anyone who takes even an hour to sit down an look at this game's gameplay loop can see that at this game's core it designed to be a casino that attracts your attention long enough to empty your bank accounts.

The question is can the game function without PVP. An yes BDO can 100% function without PVP, because nothing in this game revolves around PVP, progress, making silver, obtaining core game items, PVE content. This game could 100% lose its PVP an majority of it's playerbase wouldn't care sense on average you encounter PVP in this game every 1-4 weeks, even longer if you try to avoid it. Hell even when going out of your way too PVP you can't even find PVP most of the time.

As long as you'll try to suggest that Devs are dumb and without clear idea in their game design, and players are misusing owpvp with success on a daily basis, you won't have a chance to make any point in this discussion. 

Go talk with Zaolee instead, he will clearly tell you where the owpvp is.
