Warrior is totally left behind, we didn't get any real interesting stuff since a long time. Meanwhile you are omega buffing Ninja or Musa or Wizard / Witch.

I mean, we didn't got any new protections in succession and awakening, no real big change on our skills. The class still the same as before. Good in 1 v 1 but there is way better, totally useless in mass PVP.
The class isn't an assassin but it's not a frontlaner too. We are just outdated because of the nerf of 2018 for mass PVP.

I really feel like you don't wanna buff us to not frustrate all players and you are avoiding us. When Musa or Ninja or another class got a buff because they asked it. But when we, warrior, ask a buff, we have nothing else than dust.

You didn't give to awakening a better protected CC. Yes we can use the Core on Grave Digging but it's definitly useless because Solar Flare is more interesting. I wanted to see the KD on Slashing the Dead back but no. We wanted to see an improvement for mass PVP but we got nothing.
Succession still has a lack of mobility, it's a turtle mode gameplay on a game which mobility matter a lot. Still no buff of accuracy too or cit. Lack of good skills in Absolute and protections. Give back Tremor Bound. Skills animation are too slow, it's terrible.

Awakening is good but some skill doesn't not damage in PVE and PVP. Reckless still not do any DMG without charge. You added an extra hit on the non charged Reckless, but it still doesn't not DMG. Grave Digging still not good enough, yes there is a slow, but the DMG are terrible.

You changed the passive, more DP and HP. HP is good but DP is just useless. Better to give DR or 10% ATK speed or crit rate or crit DMG or something else.

The block still really weak even with the buff on global. Also you didn't separate the block gauge from SA / FG gauge. So now, with the update, a musa / maewha / succ Lahn / DK will just remove our block and they'll remove SA / FG in the same, so it's gonna be fun.

The change on the grab, Take Down, makes the Prime version totally useless because the Absolute version is the same as Prime version. But it seems like you won't change it.

You didn't removed Charging Slash and the Absolute version. The skill is totally garbage, useless. We are waiting the change on it since 2016, but you did nothing. Remove it and give us a good skill for PVE PVP.

Now that it appears the reworks have been finalized for their upcoming release, I would like to give a little feedback on my personal opinion of the changes. I don't know if what I am going to suggest has been brought up before so please forgive if I am restating things that have already been discussed; these are just my personal opinions on how the reworks could be improved. 

 

First off, I want to say that the rework overall has been excellent. Its addressed many of the problems Warrior has while also retaining and solifying its strengths and unique playstyle without making the class overpowered. Warrior has always suffered in PvE and large scale PvP and its clear the rework has been targeted to address these issues. While the PvE has been improved significantly, I think there are a few more changes that could safely be made to make Warrior more viable in large scale PvP without improving its already very good 1v1 and small scale potential. 

 

Just as a disclaimer, I will be focusing on Awakening in this post as I am far more familiar with it and wouldn't feel condifent commenting on the changes to Succession.

 

So, what problems does Warrior have in large scale PvP?

 

Well, this is a pretty obvious question to anyone who has played class the in RBF, node wars, or seige, but I feel it is important to state so that we can establish what the goal should be. In my opinion, Warrior suffers in large scale PvP for two main reasons.

 

1. Warrior is a combo-based class. In order for Warrior to do significant damage, it must have its target on the ground and often use many unprotected skills. In 1v1 or small scale, this isn't really a problem; however, in large scale it means you will often be instantly CC'd before you are able to combo your target.

 

2. Warrior is a melee class that relies on its block to survive. Since there are no target limits or DR/block scaling in large scale PvP, the block will often be nearly instantly destroyed rendering the Warrior useless. 

 

What should the goal be?

 

Just to state plainly, I don't think Warrior needs to be a top tier large scale PvP class. If every class did everything equally as well, I think we would lose alot of what make the classes unique. However, I think that the goal should be to make it viable and fun to play Warrior in large scale PvP, neither of which currently describe the state of Warrior in node wars or seige. 

 

What type of changes should be made?

 

Before going into specific changes I would make, I think its important to state three general option we have for improving Warrior in large scale. 

 

1. Give Warrior more damage and AOE on its main SA skills

or

2. Give Warrior more tools to survive and disengage in large scale combat

or

3. Give Warrior more protection for its combos so that it can potentially kill the players that it CCs

 

The first option the reworks have addressed fairly well, but the second two seemed to have been largely overlooked.

 

So what specific changes should be made?

 

These are some of the changes I think could be safely added to Warrior to improve its large scale potential without making it busted in 1v1s. Note that, I am not suggesting that Warrior receive all of the changes listed here, rather these are some of the options that I think should be considered.

 

Flow: Reckless Blow -> Add a foward guard effect to the strike portion of the skill if it was fully charged.

 

Merciless -> Remove the float and bound effects from the skill. Add a super armor effect (nullified during cooldown) to the skill. Increase the animination speed and hit range of the skill.

 

Flow: Ankle Break -> Remove the bound effect and add a super armor effect to the skill.

 

Flow: Armor Break -> Remove the stiffness effect and add a forward guard effect (nullified during cooldown) to the skill.

 

Burning Moxie -> Add a super armor effect to the skill.

 

Flow: Knee Kick -> Remove this skill. Replace it with a new awakening skill that provides Warrior with a protected movement skill it can use to escape from bad fights.

 

Frenzied Strikes -> Add a forward guard effect to the skill. Apply the +100% critical hit rate to PvP. Increase the animation speed.

 

Core: Frenzied Strikes -> Remove this core skill.

 

Add a new core skill called Core: Heaven's Cleave -> Add a super armor effect to the skill.

 

Seismic Strike -> Increase the critcal hit rate from +50% to +100%. Increase the animation speed. 

 

Frenzied Spear -> Add a foward guard effect to the dashing and slash attack portion of the skill.

 

Shield Tide -> Reduce the cooldown from 13s to 10s.
