I agree with Askore on the awakening iframe. It doesn't change the core of how iframe was used, because we could bypass the cd anyway. It won't suddenly make sorc iframe more, but it moves the "skill" from having to use a cheesy mechanic (that can get messed up by things outside your control) to resource management.

Not gonna lie, is funny seeing random players crying about how sorc doesn't need this and that.

While they're hiding on their alt accounts to post on the forums or on some random pve guild.

 

Maybe you think sorc is one of the strongest classes in the game and super hard to cc because you have zero pvp knowledge and should go pratice instead of lifeskilling all day :D

Not sure how stating it's hardest to catch would be wrong. It is in fact one of, if not the hardest one to cc if played well, which was shown quite clearly on AoA matches.

Again i do not understand why every class in your opinion (and even more so something like sorc) should zoom in long distance and how giving her more movement on top what she already got with reworks would be justified. Sorc doesn't really need to be tanky considering ability to iframe at will, and yet they have +19% eva and (now, used to be 19) 26dp with 100% uptime, which isn't nothing (and if you think - whoa, shouldn't Sorc be tankier with these? - shout at PA to delete class modifiers which are ridiculous bullshit and only make balancing harder).

And i wouldn't call GRJ a "long sa skill", it comes off faster than Guardian's nukes. I won't bother talking over Nova as i still think it's overtuned and recent nerfs were laughable, but i'm pretty sure you didn't play Ninja - his movement is filled with unprotected gaps, and tbh you can't put those 2 together, it's a false simile, setting aside that stealth is broken by virtually anything.

Again, reworking/readjusting 3 of Sorc's rabams would probably give more viable solutions. And not sure why in your opinion FG damage would suddenly be a solution. There's a ton of skills nowadays that bypass FG, not mentioning Corsairs running rampant in group pvp. 

 

ye its true sorcs hardly can cc each other in a 1v1 since we got bon grj and soul reaper

Idd nobody understands why we got defence passives on sorc
sorc doesnt need to be tanky and isnt tanky coz the class mods even with those passives
also sorc stopped dealing dmg since the class mod changes took away alot of it ... its really strange

 

our sa skills are long enough that alot of ppl will just wait for you to cast them and then grab you out of those, so they aint really the solution to sablocks or sa dmg trades

ah yes the ninja narative of stealth being so bad and our movement is so unprotected while being insanely quick so the gaps are easily covered, while out running the dod that got thrown after them

 

Having a fg trade skill could help with the fact that we arent tanky and cant easily heal ourselfs beside with HP pots

saying ye dont ask for anything coz they might do sth in the future doesnt make any sense
when some changes happen we can talk about them and see

There are only 2 ways to buff non grab classes to be able to fight perma SA rots and sa blocks:
1. Grab

2. Buff the damage of said classes insanely, so they can kill without ccing the enemy
or

3. Nerf SA blocks and remove the ability to stay perma sa

BIG TRUE, I wish forum disclose how many siege/nodewar each of these people asking for more buffs on sorc have been to, or ranking in rbf, or the least kda in open world (because I know they do keep track of them) righttt????

Some ideas, they are not dedicated to be put together. Hate or love. I don't care.

 

Sorc preawak

- Buff abyssal flame (damage, fully charged after certain skills)

- Increase darkness realease damage, increase explosion range.

- Add stiffness to dark backstep, increase to 10 targets.

- Increase shadow eruption and ultimate damage, make it usable separately, and add more link to others abilities

- REWORK sinsister omen ( speed, damage, debuff, range....)

- Rework shards explosion

- Merge shield of darkness with shard of darkness (it makes more sense), same for the accuracy buff. 

Like: Use 1 shards to get All AP +8 , All DP +9

        Use 2  shards to get All AP +16, All DP +15

        Use 3 Shards to get All AP +20, All DP +20

        Use 4 Shards to get All AP +20, All DP +20 and 10% all accuracy rate.

- Rework bloody contract to make it our new "self buff" like new classes

- Buff dream of doom damage, it's pitiful at this point

- More interaction between crow flare / Turnback slash

- Decrease rabam: crow nightmare cooldown, way too long

- Rabam: shadow wave is slow, rarely land, damage inexistant.

- Rabam : shadow hellfire. Cool visual, but that's all. Too slow. Almost no damage. Doesn't match the visual at all.

 

Sorc Awak

- Increase Dead hunt second and last hit damage (reward PvP and PvE)

- Increase blade of darkness counterattack damage, and also increase blade damage over time, improve the travel pace distance. Add vaccum and air attack.

- Merge blade of darkness into cry of darkness

- Merge black hole into blade.

- Make black hole interact with cry of darkness (to cast and explode the black hole early)

- Increase the forward AOE of vile plan, improve its VFX. especially the swing part.

- Merge cartian's protection and vile plan together

- Buff black hole by scaling it with blades

- Nigtmare (remove knockback, keep stiffness, add stun or knockdown), add big damage to Requiem ( rework the animation to make it more "deadly" ). Replace 100% critical hit rate by 30% accuracy rate and 30% ignore all resistance for 10 seconds.

- Add health regen to violation or turn back slash

- Add a flow to shadow leap

- Add damage and float to the upward swing from shadowleap. (left click just after shadow leap)

- Add flow : Imminent doom to use GRJ fully charged instantly after some skills (share cooldowns with pre awak imminent doom)

- Increase damage of rushing crow in awakening 

- Change Grim reaper self buff "all resistance +30% increase" by "cast speed increase".

Congrats on making sorceress even more OP giving her more invulnerability.
Now archers wont ever be able to hit them as our skills are super slow.

This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.

Disclaimer I am not a pro but since most of the people asking for succ sorc changes arent making any sense heres what i got from Plasma09 who spoke to other succ sorcs like Enfrax, Migatzu, Kaiju etc

As well as some changes id like that i placed in italics

 

Succession Sorc

- Put an Iframe at the beginning (movement part) of prime stinger when using shards OR  preferably just remove shard usage from Rushinc Crow and Stinger & keep the distance

- linger SA and CC removal of rushing crow

-Prime Rushing Crow upgrade - press space during or after rushing crow to dash a 2nd time using shards 

- Blackwave pop doing full damage and hits no matter if you activate it manually with F

- Prime Violation generating shards/Less pvp dmg reduction: Spin Hit from 70% to 58%, Extra Hit from 59% to 44%, 4-9% Accuracy added

- Prime Turn back slash generating shards (potential slight range increase)

- Crow flare giving back 5-20 shards (whichever is balanced)

- Bloody calamity damage boost by 15-20%/Less pvp dmg reduction: from 62% to 50%

- New cancels for abyssal flame (such as after DoD, stinger, rushing crow and calamity)

- A new protected movement skill (prime : sinister omen ?) that works the same as Hashashin 3rd rabam sand tornado (that's just an idea) 

- Dark flame & Ultimate Dark flame less pvp dmg reduction from 75% to 65% on both (not 100% sure on the dmg reduction percentages as this could bring the class back to pre mediah which i defo dont want)

 

I am guessing the next prime skill will be Cartians Nightmare or Grim Reapers Judgement so i dont think we need another burst skill right now however, if we dont get a burst skill from awk as a prime skill then

-Prime Shard Explosion (FG or SA) sped up animation 7-15sec cooldown, decent aoe size (not sure on dmg probably similar to GRJ so around 2000x6)

 

Percentages can be changed to whats more balanced just a starting point

Succession sorc has severe identity crisis. It lacks the damage. It has low mobility. No utilities or team support. Not a tank, not a proper mage or assassin. @Devs the best way to assess it is to seriously fix the class's purpose and then tune it accordingly. Adding FG, SA or reducing CD wont fix anything.

Either fix succ sorc or merge it with awakening.
