and its not only Lahn who can close gap in 1 sec and follow it by grab (while Archer is midair and will be grabbed at starting point due to still unsolved Point Of Origin BUG).
All those changes are more or less "nice" BUT without reliable i-frame (i already suggested makeing BS rage version of Zephyr leap as its base version etc) Archer will get deleted by other "reworked" classes, and he wont be able to distance from them.

U cant fight back if ur dead in 2 sec.... and you can do almost nothing to prevent it.

 

Besides PA did nothing to adress archers unability to grind end game spots at 700gs (when most classes can grind Ash Forest or Oluns)

 

 

I have fired Luthragons Call in the back of Warriors, Ninjas, Novas, Musas, Lahns and many other classes while they were running in a straight line.
All of them were able to outrun my projectile.
Whos the id*ot that makes people outrun projectiles?

Some classes can move faster than the fastest push of a button can be registered by the server so its impossible to react, unless you were already moving before the other guy.

Pvp felt a lot more skillful when things were actually reactable, as opposed to being on the bad end of an instant transmission dash into a magnet grab. Especially with desync being an inherent and inescapable part of games, faster paced isn't always better.

The changes seems good altough our mobility is very scripted and easy to counter, but besides that, would it really hurt if we get a new passive for extra ACC or EVA? 
It's really sad when you get 2 trial characters, where 1 is an archer and the other is any class and it feels like the few hits that actually land on the target deals no damage and as soon as it reachs you, you are dead.

Can you imagine if our shots had somewhat of a curve if our target moved? Let's pretend theyre sentient light wolves that hunt their target. A little like guided missiles (not overdone of course.)

After all the feedback here and archer discord all you could came up with for change after 2 weeks was "Buff Watcher skill" ? Really ?

The biggest problem with Archer is not being able to hit targets when there is any incline or decline in terrain; this problem is made even bigger because most of our skills makes us move backwards (recoil) after we use the skill so we can't even do what other range classes do: use terrain as advantage. Also, being stuck in animation after the skill has already gone off (Righteous Smite) is one of the most frustrating things playing as an archer because there's so many classes that can engage so quickly.

 

We're using a bow, not a sniper rifle; there should be no recoil on any of our skills and no skill should lock us in a 2 second or more animation time after already firing the arrow.

An example of how Archer is well behind in PVE

 

 

Nova at Orc camp with only 277K AP clearing in seconds, admittedly she has buff but my Archer couldn't come close to this clear speed with 290k AP.

 

 

Why are some classes able to pull in much more silver and be OP in PVP?

 

 

A lot of the changes are PVP related which is great but Achers PVE needs a lot of attention 

 

 

Spear of Sylivia: larger range and more PVE damage 

 

 

Radiant Explosion: more PVE damage, larger AOE

 

 

More damage and some simplified/easier ways to clear mobs in general to put us in line with newer classes, we don't want to be using 15 skills to farm silver

I would just like to comment on this sentence.

I agree that it was designed this way but now it is no longer the game the archer was designed for.

 

Many of our shots are so slow that opponents can see them start, have a coffee, eat a croissant, start dashing, kill one of our allies, and kill us before the shot reaches its destination with 0 damage done.

 

Obviously I agree with each of you on the fact that our animations are too slow or in several phases, one of which is stationary, and do not allow us to disengage.

I agree that we travel a short distance from our opponents.

I agree to include more wolves, I love wolves!

I agree with the little use of melee skills.

 

But more importantly I agree that PA knows the condition of the archer and doesn't give a damn because upgrading the striker brings more money from the community ^^ After 3 years of archer (PVE and PVP) I have already abandoned the game, I will return only if the archer will be rebalance to other classes, PA wants us to change and I don't want to give them this satisfaction.

 

I'm tired of proposing and waiting, seeing a solution for the other classes but not for ours...

Good game everyone!!! If PA changes his mind maybe we will see each other in the game ;)

Previous speakers have probably said everything.

If you don't fix as primary critical problem:  no hit targets when there is any incline or decline in terrain Archer it's an unplayable class.

Second problem but also big problem: attack speed. Without faster attacks Archer it's also an unplayable class.

I was playing with a friend at Turos. We have same gear so same stats. I am an Archer and he as Guardian. Difference is colossal. Guardian deals twice as much damage at the same time. Can solo Turos, Archer can't. Guardian can even solo Turos boss.  

This is absurd.
