Almost 7k base sold on EU, but then again you can easily get 2 for free, one from main questline and 1 from 70 knowledge

 

I don't remember exactly, but I think completing questline implies clearing the dungeon, which would make null half of your point.

 

The other half doesn't seem much better given the popularity of knowledge seeking activity.

 

Furthermore, sold items are just a part of the total obtained items since some players keep them fur upgrade purposes.

This dungeon seems rushed and incomplete. There is one huge place right near the start that if you go off the beaten path to explore and find knowledge, you go over a hill and fall into an endless void, because the world just stops abruptly in unfinished graphics and coding. Usually there are invisible walls to prevent this, but not so in this one. Also while exploring I've found a number of, I'll call them holes, that once at the bottom you cannot climb out, and must rely on escape -> escape to free yourself. This makes one gunshy, so to speak, about exploring and searching for the knowledge hidden like in the previous dungeon. But at least the previous dungeon was play tested sufficiently to prevent these problems.

 

The puzzles were a neat challenge, and I enjoyed solving them.  I especially like the ones that involved working as a team to solve, though they could all be done solo which I appreciated as well.

 

Now to the elephant in the room.  This dungeon has a ridiculously unbalanced last boss, and is in no way even remotely on the same difficulty level as the rest of the dungeon.  You could run it perfectly but if you encounter any kind of bad luck RNG there is so little wiggle room for mistakes that you will wipe to one of it's many instant wipe mechanics repeatedly.  

 

To give you some idea of how bad the last boss is, we had a 5 man group with an average gear score of 690(312, and 306 ap with kutum, the other three were around 285-295ap kutum), and had just enough time to kill our own fish add with a very small window of time to find and help out someone else kill their add should they have gotten stunned due to the RNG mechanic prevalent throughout the fight. We couldn't beat the last boss, we had trouble getting it past 50% after more than an hour fighting it. Our experience was that even if executed perfectly the RNG factors that could ruin your run were many, and often. Was this on Elvia? You would think that wouldn't you, but no, this was on normal servers.  

 

I equate it to being expected to one tap a base item all the way to PEN on single clicks at optimal failstacks without losing any durability due to a failed enhance.  As of this writing, no one in the entire world has beaten this boss on ANY difficulty, and not for lack of trying.

 

In closing, I have a hard enough time trying to convince people to do the original dungeon, that the time/effort is worth the reward. This new dungeon though, there is no way I could possibly convince anyone that this new dungeon is worth the time/effort involved.

 

Groups on KR and NA finished the dungeon. And tbh ppl would complain if it was too easy as well...Finishing a dungeon on the first day isnt a common thing and imo it shouldnt be that easy to clear that dungeon for now. Absolutely fine for me. Its pretty punishing, correct but making it easy would ruin the challenge

Case is simple.

If you can't finish party content with 5 total random players .... such content should never be in the game.

End of story.

I tried once (defeating the boss twice) in Vahmalkea (normal channel) and failed. So burying, forgetting, this content for me has ceased to exist.

Same as aob or savage (funny, I have never even managed to play this savage mode  because there has never been anyone willing to play and now savage was removed).

 

And let's not forget that we have to pay to enter this "dungeons".

 

If you are not able to understand and play the mechanics...you shouldnt try it with "any" randoms. And what exactly do you have to pay for the dungeons? items worth a few hundred k silver, nice...Id like to see how you reaction in other situations in which you dont succeed on the first try...Just becuase you arent able to finish the dungeon doesnt mean it shouldnt be in the game.
