Black Desert will begin in a moment.

Install the Black Desert Launcher if the game doesn't start.

Install the Black Desert Launcher to start the game.

The launcher will appear if it's installed.
If it doesn't, try to run your downloaded launcher.

Install Guide

1 Run BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe to install the Black Desert launcher.

2 Start the game once installation is complete.

Overlapping stun and vacuum effects on final boss of Sykrakea need to be toned down...

Please tone down or nerf the stun and vacuum effects during specific phases/mechanics. My group could be nailing all the phases and mechanics, coordinating perfectly and then suddenly we get screwed by a random stun or vacuum while trying to do the other phases.

 

Its extremely frustrating because it feels like theres very little room for counter play and depends on your group getting lucky enough that a stun trap or vacuum wont spawn at an inconvenient time...

 

The fight is great otherwise and its a blast coordinating all the phases with the group!

I upvote this hard... We had multiple times when a stun trap during vacuum, or stun trap during core phase mechanic would wipe the group due to person unable to defend himself or execute his role properly.

 

We had vacuum spawn during color phase ( when you needed to get the color buff ), stun trap's placed when people were standing on symbol platforms ( 50% mechanic ).

 

This is super frustrating when you need to both get perfect rng and perfect mechanic for very little reward.

 

Edit: We also had situation when both of the mobs dropping the needed item during 2nd mechanic ( laser towers ) would hug the boss no matter what ( even while standing in between them ).

 

Stun trap on top of person placing the item also happened so...

I watched a 30 min guide to this Dugeon and everything about this fight made me never EVER want to do it.

Who thinks this is fun?

Better yet who thinks: Lets take the best combat in an mmo and instead of 5 people wailing on a Giant Monster they summoned lets have them play puzzel games with it!
