Cannot Save Camera Position
I believe we all know this one; it's been around since the dawn of BDO.
No matter how many times you move your camera upwards or wherever, when you die camera position resets to default position.
(1) Move camera Up, Down, Left, or Right with arrow keys.
(2) Die, switch server, relog, use Escape, or whatever!
(3) TADA!! Camera position is RESET~~~~~~~~
Note: Not sure what the Edit UI function to 'Adjust Perspective' is because I tried saving the camera position with this but doesn't work either- if you die camera position is still reset.
Facts. Hopefully this gets attention in an update.
This is extremely annoying when hunting and you are hopping servers to get to the next mob/boss.
PA, please fix.
+1 Super annoying
Please implement this PA, I know some posts go unnoticed but this is infuriating to keep having to re-activate on every character swap, death, loading screen of any kind!
+1
Extremely annoying for ranged classes, some of which play better with non-default perspective
I hope we can get at least any kind of response from the devs on this? There are multiple feedback threads on this problem already on the forums!
Yes please fix this, i found a threat about this 7 years ago where people are asking for this fix, 7 years later still not working...
This is very handy but so annoying right now
This was never possible (saving it).
Even so, I love the adjust camera option (I lover it so my character is centered, don't care about aerial view, default is high up).
I remember the video where the dev spoke about this feature when they added it, maybe was a Calpheon ball or something, and said that they couldn't make it to be possible to save it.
There are many things they could not solve. One example is the hair glowing in darkness, unless you are using darkest black. That's a "bug" from beta and earlier, the devs said it, but never could fix it. It's something about the engine or they just think it is. Same with spam message in middle of screen: what your worker gathered, is shown, instead important error messages; it's all or nothing, so it's all useless, but they can't fix it. The list is long and some are less a problem, others are major, like their engine can't support large scale PvP without massive lag.
BDO needs a new engine and maybe everything moved over, or made again, this time better. This just won't happen soon, if ever.
