From SEA patch notes: 

"* The Oasis event, which began on March 25, 2020, will be coming to an end with the “It’s Raining Loyalties and Dream Chests!” event on November 24 (Wed)."

By removing Oasis vendor now, it would be unfair for new players and future new players. Most of us who have played for the last year have taken full advantage of the cron meals and improved our stats and saved so much silver without having to buy it from marketplace. Most new players won't even be able to afford to buy those cron meals let alone bring their hp stat up. Nobody enjoyed having to deal with the desert debuff; it was removed because nobody enjoyed it. BDO has gotten so much better because of the conveniences and quality of life changes over the years. Players have already been fed up with being forced to use specific draughts and perfumes for certain situations. Why bring back the annoyance of forcing players to buy cron meals, carrots, or compasses? And if those said items are not available on the marketplace, you are forcing everyone to craft it themselves which is more of a time sink that will just drive players away. In today's MMO environment, players do not like it when you take away things from them and this is something you should not take away.

Please do yourselves a favor and do not go backwards. You can't afford to turn away more players when you've lost so many already to New World.

Learn to play the game how the game is made to play. The oasis event ruined the market and let new players get their hands held even more than normal, they have season now is that not enough hand holding? yall really complaining about this bdo is so much easier now the new people that are coming in dont know the struggle of tapping a pen back in the old days nor even a tri like wtf. #MakeBDOGreatAgain

So because you suffered at BDO's lowest point, you want new players to suffer too? Do you want the game to grow or do you want more people to leave?

100% agree they this was ment to be an EVENT not a permanent addition to the game. They only made it go so long because of covid, if not for that they would have ended it months ago. The playerbase is so used to BDO giving them free stuff constantly they just expect it by now. Free things that were not supposed to be a permanent addition to the game. So what a few players will quit the game? 80% of them will be back.

its gonna suck without it but it was never supposed to be permanent and it shouldnt be. the market is horrendeous right now because of panic as well as people just not making cron meal in over a year.

No hard feelings, but I am definetly against this idea. The game feels quite easy to me personally and poses little to no challenge compared to what it once was, when it comes to level/xp/gear progression for new players. I personally belive this Oasis event lasted already long enough.

I came into BDO in February during the change over.  They gave me ample time to get my account moved.  I still waited until March to start playing, because I didn't want to get surprised in a bad way.   The Oasis Event started in March,  I think I wasted a lot of the contents of those chests, because I had no clear idea what to do with them.  Then when the "Season" ended, I expected the Oasis Event to disappear, and the next "Season" to start.  Other friends, who play this game, informed me there would be no new Season for a while, as Pearl Abyss had their hands full with the big move.  That was understandable.  

Later the Summer Event started, I questioned just how long is the Oasis Event?  I was told by a friend on PS4 (console servers) never got an Oasis Event, just collect the stuff, and have a blast while they are dropping.   I am only one of these "noobs" picking up 12 chests per day and converting them to 4 golden lucky chests.  I don't plan to quit playing just because they stop.  Event is defined as a happening,  an episode, or an accident.  The Oasis Event has not been breif or even rare in this case.  Normal holidays last only the one day, then we move on.  Miracles don't happen every day, they are also known as events.  In the end, this event will return in the future, or be replaced by a new event.  

I think this action is not only reasonable but also somewhat overdue.

I see a lot of bitching on here and on Reddit that it should go away. I just started playing in July. I don't have a ton of silver to go out and buy new gear. So every comment I read about "just go out and buy new gear" or "learn to play the game" can go pound sand. My first season with the Corsair was me trying to figure out how to play the game. I had one helluva time enhancing my gear because i simply didn't understand it. I rage graduated just to move on. Now with Season+, i have a handle on it and graduated with all my tuvala gear full PEN. I've since created a lot of alts to try out. I've spent several hundred dollars on the game just to have those alts. All those alts are running around with Oasis gear on now just so I can play them. If that gear becomes useless, I'm done. So far I've really really enjoyed the game. Oasis gear/food/maps are simply a huge QoL for me as a new player. If I can only play 1 single character because of the only decent gear I have, then fuck that! For those of you that are against it, why does it kill you to keep it around? It's not hurting you. But as a new player it WILL be hurting me if it goes. So don't be so selfish maybe.
