Finally that abomination going to be removed, its have no place in game at all, for same logic they can just give everyone max level/GS characters right ? Because you don't want to play game as it designed to, doesn't mean you should be given stuff for free.

Except before oasis cooking was actually worth something and people made profit.
Nowadays with insane Elvia 700m+/hr income, lifeskill has completely gone down the drain, who does even still bother?
Will get interesting. Probably need to gather yourself and play self sufficient style, which is BORING AF.

The facts are: oasis has been around for far too long, which makes removing it even worse.
Eg. bartering ceases to exist for me (and probably for many other players). You could only earn money by going to the margoria, without oasis compass there is no such option anymore. This 2 or 3 days compass from parts? Muuuahhahaaaa. Nope. Never. We have new infinity potions system so we also want same new system for perm compass and map.
Let's not forget that the desert debuff is back. Probably the biggest b.s. in this game. And in December? Yes, next new winter content also with debuff. Pitiful.
The truth is that after completely destroying the game economy by mindlessly adding a new pen system, removal oasis is BDO's funeral and the real last nail in the coffin of this game.
Even Manor for which you have to pay nothing will help.
There is one plus: I will save on electricity because I won't even have to afk 6 hours for oasis boxes.

Who's coming back?
Over the years, BDO has not even gained 1 new regular player:
As you can see 99% of new players leave after a month or two. The remaining 1% replaces 1% of those who played longer but also quit.
16k in July 2017 and 16k now.
Of course, Steam statistics are not all players, but it's about showing the trend.

100% agree they this was ment to be an EVENT not a permanent addition to the game. They only made it go so long because of covid, if not for that they would have ended it months ago. The playerbase is so used to BDO giving them free stuff constantly they just expect it by now. Free things that were not supposed to be a permanent addition to the game. So what a few players will quit the game? 80% of them will be back.

Do you say the same for that login free stuff? Or for the free loyalty? Or the free things you get in the progression pass? No? Yeah I figured. Leave the new players alone. I'm pretty sure you guys heavily benefitted from the oasis shit too.

Even those who have been playing since premiere have boss alts dressed in oasis gear.
