I was really banking on that option too, it normally works. Just yesterday I bribed a cashier at Publix to let me leave with a bunch of food. This morning I bribed a gas station to let me siphon their fuel reserves into my car. I figured Black Desert, a free to play game that supports its maintainence and development through micro bribes in the pearl shop would be happy to accept our dirty money in exchange for content they have already created.

Not on Krastonosezs' watch though. A man of his impeccable moral standing would never allow such awful obscene changes to the game, such as....

Not just "for sh.ts and giggles." People in here are advocating for minimal effort un-changes that would improve their class' BDO experience. BDO has no lack of shortcomings, but where it shines is it's aesthetics. It's a beautiful game and the best looking mmo that I'm aware of. You see screenshots come out of this game every day that look like some kind of professionally made promotional art.
Characters are detailed and highly customizable. The outfits are top notch and you can see the amount of effort that the designers at PA put into them.

Except here on NA/EU, we have a unique and outdated patch which superimposes mormon long johns on all Shai characters regardless of what we're wearing. While it is entirely understandable why large independent publisher would want such a change to protect themselves from indecent content being added by the developer- it makes 0 sense for a company who is publishing their own game.  PA can simply continue to not make indecent content.

They haven't even made any effort to offer alternative options like better pants or dyable leggings in the years that Shai has been out. Items which would be sellable world wide, but also alleviate the unique problems we have here. Yes there are probably people in here that want more than to just not have their outfits ruined by Mitt Romney's wardrobe department, and I think most of us would be thrilled if PA would get off their asses and get this un-done so we could stop being associated with them.

Where other classes browse the pearl shop or CM for nice outfits, Shai have to take the additional step of trying to figure out if we can dye the shorter mormon pajamas in a way that does not cause them to be overly visible and distracting to our outfits- and often the answer is "well no, you can't."

And then you come in, with no vested interest in the class and offer absolutely nothing to the conversation. No perspective, suggestions, sharing your introspection, experience. All you did is try to shut down every person here. Here in this most liked, and 2nd most active thread on the feedback forums.  You waltzed in to signal your endless virtue and impeccable moral standing by taking the side of "generic probably the right thing" in an effort to do nothing more than elevate your own sense of self importance. I didn't make fun of your post. Your own words made you a mockery, all I did is point it out in a way the entertained me. Even in your follow up you had nothing of value to say, you just addressed some imaginary crowd while dictating to them how you would prefer that they interpret my post.

This thread is absolute cancer and a testament to the failure of whoever makes the decision on this. Shai players endlessly stream here to advocate for basic common sense, especially business sense, only to be harassed by various double digit IQ members of the community.

Though Sanjaya might lack the balls to post on his own account, and has to rely on google translate to participate in this thread- his post is a perfect microcosm of the opposition to this thread. Some people just despise Shai. They hate that Shai exist in BDO. They hate that Shai(in their opinion) get special treatment and more attention by the developers. They hate Shai players for enabling Shai to be a thing.

I once had a Shai. I had nothing against the class. When I saw this topic, I decided to delete it. I saw it, but decided not to reply at all... Until now. My first and only delled char so far. And I have said, that any kind of clipping should be fixed somehow.

The law which mandate mormon underwear are a convenient myth that people have imagined into existence since they lack any actual arguement. If such a convenient reality existed, PA would swiftly respond to threads such as this with a copy/paste "sorry your locals laws require it, it isnt an option."

Normal people dont see Shai's feet, ankles, calfs, legs, face, hands, arms, shoulders as "sexualizing" because we do not view Shai as sexual objects. Just as you do not(hopefully) view your dog as sexualized, even though it may be a naked adult male with a dingus swinging around. Just as you(hopefully) do not view your cat walking over and putting his butthole in you face(because they love doing that for some reason)as a sexual act because you do not inherently view them as sexual objects.

People who honestly believe in that arguement are just ironically unaware that they are just projecting beliefs and a world view that only makes sense to other people who view Shai sexually. So yeah, if playing Shai made you feel all tingly in a way that you shouldn't, I totally support you deleting that character and maybe seek some counseling.

I got lucky buying the the rosa de sharon outfit for shai on the CM (oops, meant to purchase the spring blossom lol) and it was so hideous. I mean the outfit is OK but the leggins are forced on you. It doesn't matter if you're wearing pajamas or bear pantsu, you're forced to wear that hideous generic legging. At least make it decorative like the rest of the outfit. A lot of work is put into shai costumes, a lot more than other classes I would argue. Look at the new costume coming next month, it looks so detailed! But, we're stuck with ugly leggings on some outfits. lool!

My pearl wallet is ready for the new outfit but I'll be skipping it if it comes with forced leggings again. =/
