It's goes beyond the obvious bashing in the west PA would receive by media outlets, like YT.  We don't know exactly "why" they chose to "cencor" Shai, but from pure speculation, I'd say it's because PA knows this is the WESTERN MARKET.  A decison rolled out by the highest roles in the company.  The Western Market does not generally accept toddlers taken beyond their youthful innocence, know that for a fact -- we protect our children.  And PA knows that, it seems.  They'd risk sales, risk losing players, and risk their reputation / public perception on the comapny.  BDO is already looked down upon by the general MMORPG community for it's P2W aspects --- we do not need any more bad press.  Making a toddler more revealing = BAD PRESS.

The implications of bad press by popular media outlets, like YT, and other media outlets like PC Gamer Mag, extend far beyond some people's opinion.  I don't care that you don't care, lol....what matters is the decision PA makes for THEIR game.  Balls, no balls, that has no place in this matter --- it's a matter of -- This is the Western Market.  The Western Market doesn't generally accept toddlers wearing skimpy outfits.  Shai looks like a toddler.  Whether you like it or not, removing Shai leggings is making her more revealing, at the end of the day.  And to that, I vote a hell no.

Fix any graphical bugs.  Keep the leggings.  My opinion.

Actually it is matter of having balls, western culture is rotten that is beyond comprehension. Game journalism is trash, it is no longer about gaming but rather about politics. Why we even discuss anything about children ? We talk about virtual world, fiction, are people these days so dumb that they believe that people in the picture are trapped on the magical paper ?  People who have problems with virtual characters and are forcing some kind of f.....d up views are real psychos here. It is also a matter of censorship and that thing was never a good thing. If people are so protective then why allowing anything? there is death on any tell a vision machine (i mean tv), most games are about killing killing killing, death become so common in these days that people are talking about it like it was a butter, I say f.... censorship, remove that ridiculous leggings, if people are so dumb that they are seeing anything more than just video game, a fiction then they need insane asylum. That should be enough for you to realize why PA decide to put leggings -- and keep them -- on Shai, for NA/EU markets. 

I'm just saying, I do not see it as a smart move.  I can forsee media absolutely ripping into PA and worsening how our game is already perceived.  It's just my opinion, I am not saying you're wrong, I am not calling you a pedo, so no need to get so riled up.  Want to see a more revealing Shai?  Then move to Korea and play on KR server.  Or keep campaigning, whatever, doesn't really matter to me either way.

PA is smart.  They know how to make money.  They made this decison and still stick with it.  As a long-time playing and paying customer, I applaud PA for standing firm on their decision to keep Shai leggings.

No matter what, people are forcing some kind of sick suggestions. Stop picking holes in it! Not trying to understand the problem, instead sick accusations. I personally don't like shai, in fact I really hate that class. I see this problem as a major censorship issue that should be immediately resolved by removing that bs.

Media would have a field day on PA is all I'm saying.  It's speculation.  Like I said, I don't care either way.  But I actually like this game and want to see it live longer than World of Warcraft. 

If the media were to catch a hold of this, if PA made these changes you're asking for, and tears PA a new one for this decision, making the game less appealing to the general public via perception, IMO, it seems that would contribute more to the game's demise than to its livelihood, IMO.  Just tryna look out for PA on this one.

EDIT:  I don't play FF.  I play BDO, Street Fighter, League of Legends with friends, and a bit of FPS' and racing games.  Guilty Gear: Strive looks amazing and will pick it up.  Other than that, I don't play games with half naked loli's and I'd like to keep it  that way, TYVM.

Let's leave the word "uncensored" aside and talk about "equality".

Shai original design does not requires a censored version because there is nothing to censor.
Shai clothes and costumes are in most cases cute and unsexualized, and not like other classes in the game.

Most of the problem is about this word, not about a realistic vision of the problem that concern.

Also I dont see the problem for NA/EU....we have Tera with Elin, we have Blade n Soul with Lyn....and both a child characters that are way more "sexy" from their costume choices that any shai could ever be.

Tbh I find sexy childcharas super cringeworthy in any MMO....and I am super happy that we don't have them in BDO. But none of the Shai costumes are in any way sexy. They are ok for children to wear. (well the Twinkle Twinkle is a bit to short but the rest I would let my child run around in.
I think Shai player dont hate that they have a pants option under stuff, but more that it clips and showed at the arms. So a shorter, super basic version (Bandou top and short pants without any prints and ruffles) would be enough to make ppl happy. I just dont want to see my grandma flower pijamas under the shoulder parts of the Kibelius Tunik or the ruffles on the pants sticking out of any skirt.
