As the title says, Corsair needs a major balance patch. An individual corsair is way too oppressive to an entire group with that Block debuff. Succession Sage got nerfed because they were able to do massive aoe damage while being able to iframe and be protected the majority of time. Succession Corsair is doing exactly that, able to go into the middle of an enemy ball, break everybody's block, do strong aoe damage, and still survive. No single class should be able to go into the middle of a group of people with the same or better gears and take no damage.

They will balance her if a new class comes out to "motivate" people to reroll...

Newest class is typically given an edge for a while, so people can can feel validated in their choice to build a new character. 

After a season, they are taken off of that special pedestal and lowered into the swamp with the rest of the cast. 

The publisher then has an empty pedestal to fill with their next twisted creation. 

Pretty much this. PA does this with every new class. They release op class to get ppl to reroll to make money on inventory wt limit and outfits. Then a few months later nerf it and release another new class.
