There have been tons of platforms opend by PA with GM's there to monitor that feedback. However it seems as if these platforms are there just to make us feel like we have a "voice". After the recent changes and now upcomming changes, we have as community contributed TONS of feedback to these platforms. And despite our what I would say good suggestions, the game drastically moves into the oposite direction.
We as a community but especially as Damo and Unseen have mentioned leadership aswell, feel completely neglected/ignored by whatever decisions you guys are making. Is it really that hard to just get a couple of GM's of guilds who are actively participating in NW/Siege together?
"For if 'credentials' mean anything weight wise", like Damokleez and Unseen, I am a Guild Master of one of the top, EU nodewar/siege guilds (Bipolar (Copium) and these changes, and the way that they are applied, make me heavily question the decisions I have taken to keep "adapting" to these new patches.
*Discord channel on the EU NW Diplomacy server made for GM's to receive suggestions and feedback about NW/Siege...

There is nothing good coming out of this, other than our time for the past 3 years being completely wasted for nothing.
Starting to gear cap content, which barely exists, 5-6 years later after the game release, while the game has been advertised and started as a long-term gear progression game, has suddenly become a carebear kindergarden that needs spoon feeding to play the game.
I'm pretty sure that this is the last straw for alot of the veterans and even newer people who have progressed only to be part of the end-game fights, which after all of this becomes obsolete.

Go grind...
When i first heard t3 will be capped on like 585 gs i thought it was a joke because it's so ridiculous. Most of the BDO playerbase is at around 630-660 gs, and there's many people at 700 gs or above. If they really implement it like that they'll basically eliminate the average nodewar guilds, capping so hard up to t3 will make many guilds die out and leave the top guilds alone on t4, mostly uncontested. Especially alliances who tried adapting to the 100 man cap will split up after months of preparations just to have even more diplomacy talks on lower tier nodes.
Bringing up such drastic changes without contacting anyone who currently plays and enjoys the Nodewar content is going to hurt BDO a lot.
It's great that we get so many updates, but usually stuff like this gets announced waaaaay before release so people can give feedback.
Still waiting for any info about t10 unicorn that was supposed to release on 2nd of September btw.
Well chosen true words Damokleez, hope PA reads this thread.
Have a nice day and let's hope BDO doesn't ruin itself ^^
I know this will get downvoted into obliviion BUT
As a smaller guild these changes are great for us.
A lot of us dont stand a chance on the node war scene with large 100 man guild running around flexing on you.
Its also makes recruiting hard as new players dont want to come to node wars to get rolled.
In regards to large geared seige guilds being trapped in Kama/Calph, I dont see this as a bad thing.
Large geared guilds should be fighting against each other.
All I hear from larger guilds is that they "can't get good fights" and this system will force them to fight eachother.
All this complaining just comes off as everyone in the high end crying because they cant just gearcheck smaller guilds.
Validate that gearscore and use it to fight strong oponents.
That being said.
I do think that they need to open up the high end more however.
Balenos AP caps are way too low and should be PEN tuvala minimum.
If they could push bal/ser/med up a bracket and turn valencia into a 100 man territory I think that would fix a lot of these issues.
game over

my man you should not ask for capped content but for PA to actually make tier rewards appropriate to peoples gear actual levels. If a good big guild could make aletsay 600 mil in one nw per member they wouldnt go to node that gives 100 mil per member, to put things into perspective.
they shouldnt cap gear but they should make rewards so tempting on higher tiers that guilds want to go fight and risk for it.
i mean people already make from 500-1bil per HOUR on elvia spots. pvp content and time investment should be motivating and profitable as well. trust me, capping gear is tottaly wrong approach. making your whole guild of similar gear wanting to go die and fight for a juicy reward (like sieges atm i guess?) is way better motivational and "bracketting" approach.
dont limit nw shops per tiers. everyone needs new crytsals. but severly differentiate personal sivler gain per nodewar. in time, you will see that guilds will find thier streghts according to "safe 400 million is better than highly unlikely 800 million per nw per player.
*** numbers for rewards are arbitrary. also, they could make way more tiers. only t1 should maybe be really artificially capped by limits. for true seasonal exiting chars stepping stones into nw world.
I don't understand mindset of PA when coming up with these changes.
Gear progression is easier now than it has ever been - this I understand, catch up mechanics to attract new players is a core part of pretty much every MMO.
But then you effectively negate the point of gear progression which is PVP - lets be real, the PVE in this game is basic, everyone knows the PRIMARY end game focus of most players is PVP of some kind, be it node war or siege.
What is the point going for high level gear progression, when you'll be restricted when it comes to the organised pvp system which is implemented in the game.
