Hey PA and fellow adventurers,

Thank you for the giant robot boss fight, I'll miss that one.

Probably the highlight of the Halloween events.

I was quite annoyed at the dumb ones like the haunted house and quit fast at the red light, green light one.

Indeed, it was a great surprise.

The pumpkin interior items as prizes were the cherry on top (pictures included)

Kudos to the fellow players who knew what to do. Friendly laughs at those in normal form slicing the air thinking they'd damage the boss.

I would have liked to do this event but there were a few reasons why I never had the chance.

1. It happened at odd times of the day. I'm not logging on at 4PM lol

2. The location was out of the way and having to park a character there isn't ideal. There should have been some type of teleport system that allow players to teleport to that location. Halloween is magic after all. So having to go from say the desert or the ocean is annoying or having to log onto a level 49 character to go there on time is equally annoying.

People might complain about teleportation isn't immersive but not everyone plays the game 24/7. Perhaps if PA wants more people to participate, they could add a teleport icon at the top of the screen during the spawn of the event. This would really boost the excitement people have for these things. Of course, being able to go back to the original location would be a bonus.

Ah, it's a pity you couldn't join the fight.

As for what you are mentioning, we will see on the 24th of November onwards how it will turn out, if you see what I mean.

How did you know I went there as my lv 49 character or the seasonal one?

That said, I never encountered problems then. I must be a lucky fool in that regard.

It was great. 

Felt like having a lil'bit of teamwork with the rock-paper-scissors stuff for once.

Boss didnt have some glitchy oneshot mechanic. Participating gave you chances to heal so didn't need to resummon either. 

And the loot was more than satisfying.

Only thing that bothered me was the overlapping with world bosses after daylight savings change.

Lead to some frustrating misses.

Red light, green light wasnt to bad, patience is key. Was quite doable on first try.

The house, well to many glitches (boxes not spawning), red lantern ghosts being a little to unpredictable. But the idea wasnt to bad.

My biggest problem would be the overall event area. I liked the little festivals in the past. Had quite the charm but this one was way to spread out to build up some atmosphere.

Not using an event alt is peoples fault tbh. The game is built around alts, not making use of it and then complaining is kinda silly. Also not sure which time would not be considered "odd" if there are 3 options available with morning, afternoon and evening?

Yes, I enjoyed the fact that people cooperated and that it was not a fight with constraints.

And yes, the spawning hours were strange, especially on Saturdays. Too bad some had to choose between the usual boss fights and this one indeed.

I believe that Marni's Playground gave you more a feeling of "hey, devs dropped cogs, pumpkins and other strange devices plus some neat airship overnight" rather than a dedicated enclosed zone like Terrmian Beach (which I hoped would be permanent so I could relax there. Imagine a permanent sea resort) or Finto Farm during Thanksgiving. Even NPCs stated it.

I admit I wanted not to stay there for long, I was all "hey, let me claim the weekly dice and get out of here". Haha.

Oh and a MMO is all about choices, to go for an event or not, a boss fight or not and so on... and then "RL" can prevent some to do whatever they'd want in the game... but hey. Cruel reality.

The boss was realy well done like pretty much everything with the Halloween event.  The Maze, The Green-Red light. the BSA was really rewarding.

And The Robot WTF moment with a mechanic that work well.

3 spawns 6 hours appart everyday except saturday for 2 weeks and located in the middle of the old world. More inclusive than this is asking for a whole lot tbh.

Yes, it was a fun little fight. I think testament to that, is the fact that player participation seemed to grow steadily throughout the time it was running as word spread that it was an enjoyable fight (and perhaps more to the point for many) the rewards were quite good.
