I do not understand how PA could screw up node wars this badly.  The latest patch notes talk about how people complained that 3 wars a week per territory were too restrictive, and PA responds by saying "OK, how about 5 wars per week in the same system".

The problem wasn't that there weren't enough war days, the problem was that if you win a node you're locked into the same spot fighting the same guilds day after day, and can't go out and find good fights.  And you have to fight them day after day!  Every war day you're planted on your held territory whether you want to be or not, so that means every day the territory has a war your guild is REQUIRED to fight if you don't want to lose territory and your ticket to Conquest.

In the old system, a guild interested in Conquest war could win a node war on Sunday or Monday, put it in the bank, and then have fun the rest of the week doing whatever, including off-day low-stakes wars, arranged matchup wars, grinding, lifeskilling, etc.  With this system, every day with a war has to be a main day or you lose your spot.  Guilds trying to war are buckling under the pressure, burning out shot callers and leadership who are struggling to pull together full wars 3x/week in a game that's already hemorrhaging interest.

So what does PA do when people say this is too restrictive?  THEY ADD MORE DAYS.  Now instead of having to fight 3x/week we're being forced to go 5x/week, including literally every day from Tuesday through the weekend.  Forget having an off day on Friday night because you like to spend time with your family, if you want to play on Saturday you're warring every god damned night.  It's absurd.

PA says they want new guilds to participate in node wars, but then they set up a system that's incredibly demanding and toxic, and it's going to kill off everybody who's not a dedicated siege guild.  Just an absurd piece of bad judgment and tone deaf game design.
