Alright but, do you know nobody use Obsidian cause by the time it's finished casting you're already dead? Shadow bullet is a good unprotected cc, just like many melee classes have, I mentioned warrior and ninja, but even mae/musa arrow. 

As I said I was only stating that there are ranged options. Everything else is up to you.

The other guy talked about DK, but that last sentence was about you getting heatted up (having too much passion, as he worded it sarcastically) for tamer, as you are comming here to set up your campaign of negating any issue tamer has, you're the one that should read again, because this is not about crying for the grab nerf, it's about nerfing our grab at the same time that they are making us even more reliable on it by removing some of our catches, which makes no fucking sense.

I worded my comment about DK awakening since is basically the spec every DK is playing rn, yeah, DK succ sucks ass, I agree, but that's not something tamer should get punished for.

As someone that has played tamer since 2016 (ign: Khur), the nerfs we received this week make me feel as bad as I did when they took away pole vault iframe. The only endgame content bdo has is Rbf, nodewar, and siege. Tamer can't do any of these, and these nerfs make it even worse. "You're good 1v1 get over it." Ok, let's pretend sorcs, ninjas, sage, hash, etc can't also perform in 1v1 while still being viable in group pvp. Guess it's a problem when tamer asks for relevancy.

I have seen tamers with red points in RBF many times, so that's a skill issue.

There are also other classes (eg awakening hashashin) who are exclusively 1v1 viable, but they dont have a fraction of tamer's kit.

No that's a gear issue, not a skill issue. The only people who do well in rbf are so geared it's insane, pretty much regardless of class. Look no further than seasons rbf if you need more proof of that. 

Even if it were solely skill based, just because a group of tamers are good at rbf, it does not mean that it is a viable pvp option. Looking at the top percentage of any class is probably one of the most toxic ways to look at a class because you're essentially telling everyone else they're not good enough to even consider that class if they can't do what the best can. Tamer is a class that requires hundreds of hours of dedicated practice to reach that level of skill, it is in no way an easy class to pick up and be good at.

Second point, once again it's the whole argument of "well so and so class does worse in something so you shouldn't ask anything from pa about your class because it's just sooo perfect and even asking for something for your class is toxic to everyone else." Even as far as the 1v1 thing goes, I'd bet you'd be hard pressed to find a single tamer who would be against having it nerfed somewhat in favor of bringing up it's playability in other areas of the game. This is especially the case for awakening because the whole point of dfs is for grind spots and the awakened tamer is undesputably one of the worst pve classes in the game, probably second only to Musa. 

To the main point of the thread, maybe it just comes from not being around for much of tamer's nerfs, but I'm still somewhat optimistic that when it hits live it won't be as bad as it seems. I don't think the grab nerf is a bad thing. Only thing I'm genuinely mad at is that they didn't put the other changes on the patch notes. This is just flat out shady and comes off as them trying to hide things from the community. 

Its unfortunate, cause in all reality, the most complaints you hear about tamer is losing Duel for Spots. And their Argument is always some terrible "Well tamer has pet, well tamer good 1v1" You're simply stating the obvious. The sky is fking blue. and? what do you want? You got shit on by a class that has less than possibly 10k people maining globally. Least to show up in mass PVP. Least likely to ever succeed other than being a Flametower Junkie. Are not present neither EVER been meta within the Black desert online universe, and completely disregarded in seiges. But their argument remains the same, "I got FOLDED by a loli 1v1, therfore she does not deserve a buff"  Get your dumb ass in the BA and learn your class. You're dealing with Passionate Tamer players that more than likely got 3+ years playing the Class and comepltely DEDICATED to it. They worked for the RBF metal IF you EVER see a damn Tamer with one. And they Worked for the Kills and Frags if you EVER see a tamer Frag. Lets not Disregard GEAR being an EXTREMELY prevelant thing in BDO. Lest we forget.
