I have played a lot of MMOs and BDO is unique in a lot of areas but not always in a good way.  The central market is unique and I can't think of a  a good reason why it's a good idea to keep it communist in function. What purpose does this serve? In other MMOs prices are balanced based on player supply and demand rather than whatever PA thinks its worth, which is never correct. I would like to make money lifeskilling in a variety of ways but no, there's only a few things you should do because of tahe communist CM. If anyone can enlighten me why this is a good thing for BDO, please let me know.

It prevents RMT an that all PA cares about because RMT competes with their ability to sell cash shop items to whales who sell those cash shop items on the market.

It prevents people like Biohack from manipulating the market by buying out everything and relisting it all at a much higher price. The capped prices makes it more difficult for the very rich to control the market.

I agree with this 100%.. To me giving player control is how Tera Online, Blade and Soul, etc died.. Literally became unplayable for new and current non-whale players.. You may not care, but thats how a game stays lively rather than filled with empty headed, short sighted whales.

It is still supply and demand (the higher the supply the lower the price and vice versa) just with a max and a min and it can fluctuate between the upper and lower limit. 

Nah, ppl still can manipulate the market if they know how to, heck the clown on the old forum advertised proudly that he does that with alt accounts (ambrasador btw)

The high tax is the most significant in controlling market manipulation, as it's only profitable if you shift the price heavily which is (obviously) harder to do. Especially with such dead economy that bdo have, most items have no demand, so even if you make the price skyrocket, noone will buy it.
