That´s pure bullshit they died becuse shitty monetization and other stupid bullshit from the companies handeling the game badly.

Runescape and EVE online are great examples on why player driven eonomy can be great if done right.

Not in BDO.

Not in BDO.

BDO has shitty monetization and retarded prices.  A player driven economy could not work in BDO  becuse PA are to fucking retared make a player driven economy that work.  I mean they clearly shown they are to fucking stupid to even balance the game like a normal mmo.  Yeah sure any mmo ever that´s been out for years always need fine tuning on the balance but PA don´t fine tune shit they over tune or under tune it.

So the biggest reason a player driven market/economy can´t work in BDO is PA is to stupid and the players to fucking stupid becuse they never played a game with good player driven economy or they are jut retared enugh to  get a hard-on fucking up the market becuse destroying for others is what gets them off.

So your correct no in BDO would it ever work becuse stupid players and stupid devs.

Why is the market fixed? Take in accord average iq of BDO player, imagine how market would look unchecked and ask that question again.

This is modified capitalism, just as it is in the most of the global economy.  Supply and demand still drives the BDO world economy.  I posted requests for 40 dyes in the CM back in August.  There are still 35 requests, players don't sell dyes that often, this creates a backlog and I just have to be patient.   Selling any item well above the market value is just about the same, unless there is no supply and larger demand.  The current market system prevent price gouging.  Price gouging happens when a seller increases the prices of items to a level much higher than is consered reasonable or fair.   Here in the United States it is considered a crime.

In pure communism all surplus goods are divided up among the people.  You would not be paid by individuals for producing materials.  All your goods would bought by the system at a set price, to be redistributed by the system, and equally distributed to the consumers.  If you were farming watermelons, went to the market, they would take all the watermelons you have, and I would end up getting offered a perecentage the available watermelons at market.  I hope this clears up any misconception that BDO practices communism.

Have fun!

If you pre-order you are put in RNG queue, not in order of when you placed in your pre-order. You can put in a pre-order for your dye at #10 but 300 get sold and you could get 0. Likewise, if you're the one selling, it's also RNG. You could get lucky and sell all your 1000 but if you're not and someone just buys 3, then you go back in the RNG queue. The cost is also set for everything and you're not allowed to buy or sell outside of what they tell you. Likewise, you're not allowed to trade items with other players, you MUST do your trading through the central market. Likewise, you are taxed to no end unless you bribe them (value pack). Additionally, if there are items sold at a lesser price, those items will be purchased first automatically instead of the ones being sold at a higher price even if you select the most expensive ones.

Communism is evil but it's not necessarily BDO and yet it's also not any other established style since it no economies have ever been that dumb. Calling it communist style isn't that far off either because it doesn't matter, it's bad, horrible, and shouldn't be practiced. So I think that it's fine to call it that in the end. At any rate, it's a discussion put on the table (the topic as a whole) and the nuances of what is and isn't communism is irrelevant since everyone else seems to understand the real meaning behind this thread.

This is not 100% accurate.

At min Price as the seller, your entire stack gets put in a queue, once your stack starts selling the entire stack will sell.  Take silver keys for example, I have a stack of 1000 keys listed at min price at all times, once one sold the entire rest of the stack sold over the next day because my stack got picked to be the next stack then the entire stack eventually sells.  Max price with a Pre order yeah that is RNG every time, however selling it doesn't work that way.  Now there is no way of knowing if the stack selection is RNG or in order, that much I can not say.

Fact. This also stands true IRL, which is why every market on the planet is heavily regulated, aka not free.
