5 months has passed since Global Lab release, 3 months since NA/EU one. What is going on? 

Player feedback hasn't been addressed properly
I won't believe that someone who actually tested the changes could say "mounted combat is working great, lets put it on a live servers" or "we tested tamer movement, while it hasn't changed since class release, it's fine as it is". I just don't, it makes no sense. 

Heilang still isn't working as it supposed to

Reboot brought some worrysome issues with heilang AI and CCs still aren't working, which is the major issue entire community has. If you look at tamer playstyle, you will notice that recent changes made class even less reliant on its summon, which is opposite of what you announced.

No communication with the playerbase

How can a large company like PA get away with ignoring their customers that are reporting an issue? If something like that happened in my workplace or in any company I'm working with, person responsible for that would get fired after 1 week of slacking, I cannot call it otherwise. All you had to do is to delegate one person to give us some vague answers once a week, it's that simple.

That's a vicious circle : most of people leave the class because it's bad => few people still play it ; fewer people means less weight into community balance ; less weight = less power so why would they listen ; almost no people + why would they listen = less interest for PA to do anything => tamer mains reroll/quit BDO, and so on...

Tamer is dead and they are probably planning on making it like the character only used for pearl shop updates head-image but that has nothing to do in-game :c that's very sad indeed but there's nothing we can do about it

Im hoping something more is in store for tamer... being how people tend to think because tamer is underage that the person playing is weird like pedo weird... That said and this idea comes to mind... why not make tamer into a newly refreshed updated grown up tamu... there is so many positives to this idea... The most beneficial reason being it will take away the in-game ammo for the trolls to make fun and or make the player using tamu mad.. Nobody likes drama.. why not eliminate it. Just an idea i thought about... it would open tamer up for new outfits ... promotions .. be a great way to pull new players into the game... Tamer is the only character in game that can summon a mount.. if the underage jazz was not in play.... alot more players would want to try her... 

I removed the videos I made about the Tamer rework from Youtube. The changes to scratch weeks ago demonstrate that PA developers are aware of our issues, and now we know 100% that our issues are being ignored in favor of giving us table scraps to tide us over and expecting us to shut up about skills that are key to our kit still being bugged 4 months in.

Tamer appears to have a lower priority than Shai for ongoing balance changes despite having the most severe bugs of any class right now, and despite those severe bugs being introduced as "reworked" skills. It's insulting, frankly. I won't support it.

Thanks for the Global Labs April 15th patch with many good changes to the Tamer class, and indication in blue text that you are aware of the Pet AI problems. I put the video on the tamer rework in general back up, and updated the title:

However, testing on Global Labs with another Tamer, we found that the Pet CC mechanics remain bugged/impotent. If Pet AI issues are resolved I will put the video with more views about the Pet AI mechanics in different command states back up as well. Currently, the reason I don't want to, is because the assessment made in my first video about Tamer rework is more accurate and communicates the state of these mechanics more honestly - specifically, I said that I don't know what's bugged and what's working correctly with regard to the pet AI. The second video with more views that will remain unlisted for now, is dedicated to the Dog AI/CC mechanics after rework and indicates to viewers that these skills should be expected to work with Heilang CC effects. That was what I expected given that they worked to a degree after the December 22nd patch, but the following patch broke them and now they certainly don't. Clearly there is an interest in the new mechanic if it worked as we expected it to. So if this means you are aware and will fix it someday, trusting the translation from BDOFoundry:

Accelerate that process by any means that you have available. It remains unknown to us if the pet AI and CC patterns are bugged, intended to be useless and thus nerfed, or something in between - 4 months after being implemented and communicated to players, it remains an unknown quantity. Sincere thanks for the changes on global labs, though - I think they are good changes. Please keep up the good work!

In Awa when holding right click (Legendary Beast Dance) Tamer now uses the four attacks at random? I really don't like this because I end up accidentally using the wrong skills... which is extra annoying because it also changes the behaviour of Legendary Beast Dance: Echo...

In succ, now tamer is incredibly insane in close combat... Jolt wave works like a machine gun, Roaring every 7s is broken, allround spinner is now working fine ( in term of damage ), and finally our only "good stun" is quickly cast. 

With 291 AP, I'm doing 11500 tokens per hour ( lvl 2 ) instead of 10000 before change 

11000 tokens Jade Stars light ( lvl 2 ) instead of 9000 before change. 

For me, it's fine. Can't say I'm super happy, but I guess it's just fine. The class level up.

Void lighting = not working

Surging Tide = works on a blue moon.

Assimilate was a nice try. Pretty dope, but doesn't help the class to were it primarily needs help in.

Stop messing around with our cores, it won't help Tamer, get to the root cause of her uninteresting gameplay and zero reward for her high risk engagements.


Passive...why am I still talking about this in 2022, I've brought this up since 2016-2018 that the Tamers Passive "Fortunes Blessing" is in fact NOT a blessing at all. With weight being 25LT and HP being +50 how does this remotely help in a aoe high damage meta?? Im confused.

Im also confused as to why you purposely gimped Tamer in her 1v1's claiming that she was "Overpowered". Im confused as to why the Cloud Ride skill was taken from its natural Iframe into a Super Armor, then Give the same mech to Gaurdian which she does the similar animation, IFrame at start up and into the air. "Infernal Nemesis".  I dont get it.


The ability to lean either DR or Evasion is actually comical, because it doesn't profit her at all. May I ask why is it she doesn't have any Evasion Stats like her Sister Kuno counterpart? Or rather "As good" as her? You Take Evasion off Cloud ride...To put Accuracy....Then decided to put Evasion back on the Cloud ride...What is it you guys are exactly doing with the class??

You've worked on the Rework of the said dog, and come out with the Heilang being completely defective on arrival. Im confused as to why is this issue is not being delt with a sense of urgency seeing as the heilang is actually half the tamers kit. Im confused as to why she's not properly being looked into with her whimsical "WW" mobility. She's not fast enough. We're still stuck in 2016 playing the class with a broken kit.


At this point im not blaming really, neither am I really upset, but now, just genunely curious and concerned at to the direction or leadership behind the class as a whole. Is there a specific vision? What is it? and where do you want "The Tamer" to fall in? Im just looking for anwsers to these things. And quite frankly the only thing that would led me and the rest of the community of tamers to being upset at this point is the lack of response. the lack of attention to the small and dying community, and the lack of empathy it seems. To put it frank, we all genunely feel fed up, tired and completely ignored.
