Like in title... love it or hate it new class brings many new/old players to the game, personally that hype me up everytime and prompts  to spend money for costumes etc. also it's ton o fun to check out new toon at season thiss is the best  "content" that bdo have those days...

 I'm totally not interested in rebooting 17 old classes, which is mega boring and don't bring nothing spectacular to the game.  You will say balance game ,  classes etc ? cmon! Did you ever seen any  game that's 100% balanced ? :D 
  If they do not present a new during this year's calpheon ball part 1 and do not introduce it in December, it will be a shot in the knee for PA, I think that many people will take a break because playing the next 3 months in the winter season (if any) even with refreshed 17 classes will be very very boring and not fun at all :<

This game should not see a new class for at least a year if not two.

Even that period might not be enough to properly catch up on balancing if the current reboot is anything to go by.

People asking for yet another class have no respect for the existing combat in the game whatsoever :/

Yeah, we don't need more classes.

Tho PA highly likely will give as a quick cash grab.

guys guys I know you sacrificed your life to BDO and you want this game to be as perfect as you dreamed it to be but there is a bunch of casual players ( believe it or not ) who really want's to spend cash for outfits etc. and messed around with new class just for pure FUN nothing more..because that's what every game is about after all ?

According to the current history of the game, 2 to 4 classes per year have been the standard.  Only in 2019 they created only 1 class, which was the shai.  This year Nova, Sage, and Cosair were added to the game.  It is likely to be announced at the upcoming event, I suspect the next class will happen in Februrary 2022.

New classes generate more profit than making new game content.  New game content generates a larger player base.  The question is, which do they need at present?  If they announce more content, it means they want warm bodies to fill the servers. On the other hand, if they announce a new class, they need revenue from sales of costumes.  Recently they made manors which is both new content and generates revenue from pearl store furnishings.  I guess we will all find out  at the ball.

1. Fix servers

2. Fix desync (lol never will happen but one can dream)

3. Complete existing features in the game (that's maybe 90% of all features remaining)

4. Balance existing classes (Not going well so far)

5. Introduce more skills to existing classes and remove unnecessary skills (WIP)

6. Add new content (2 DLCs have been delayed)

7. Fix ocean content (Delayed for maybe one more year)

8. Fix life skilling (No word on this)

9. Fix the economy (Not holding my breath)

10. Implement PvE only servers to attract casuals and people who just want to relax while life skilling / fishing /RPing

11. Fix PvP / Red player system (Not going well, I don't even know what happened to bounties anymore)

12. Make massive QoL improvements to the game, too many to list here

13. Overhaul the Guild system

14. Overhaul the Main story / quest system (WIP)

15. Make all costumes available to all classes

Then and only then should they consider adding a new class if there's even a need. This game acts like it's in pre-alpha development and yet it's like 6 or 7 years old.

Actually Nova came out 22nd December 2020 so we could still anticipated one more class this year ^^

99,9% sure they will announce a new class at calpheon ball but,¿will it come this year? I really don't think so.

Most likely we will get the new season on the 15th (kr)/22th (global) with the 17 classes rework as the highlight, they most prob don't want a new class to throw shadow on their 2021 great content which are the reworks.

So, new class announced,yes, but most likely coming on the first 2022 season. Early March would be my guess (same date as the part 2 calpheon ball date).

I do not think that the character reboot will prevent them from releasing a new , beses, the rework is not "new content" but an upgrade of the old es which took them much more time than they assumed, so they will have to encourage people to play with more than a new "reboot season"

Nah, don't worry, the reworks are trash, current FOTM classes still gonna outperform most classes as the changes are either insignificant or straight up bad, lol some trash tier classes actually got nerfed with the reworks...
