I was talking with some friends the likeness of getting a new class on this season and they pointed something that had eluded me:
If they were to surprise announce a new class for this season on the 11th december they would not have enough time to make the usual event of customize your character 1 week before release for Korea seeing as they start season 4 days after Calpheon Ball.
They could bend the rule a little i guess but it's another point against a new release for this season. I still think that they will try to capitalize on the reworks to sell this winter season and wait until march to launch the new class.

I feel like they expect the majority of the players to play FF14 at the end of this week if they haven't already started catching up for the expac coming this friday. BDO is a different game, different experience yadda yadda yadda... But it's still a competitor and the biggest name in the industry. Sorry WoW but you're already dead.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure PA is in overdrive getting a lot of things prepared for us for when we're done with the expac in a couple of months. They changed their tone this year and gave this game a lot of attention despite the delays. Hope is still alive.
