they should focus on other things then new classes at least for a year
I have good news for you ! That's basically what happened in 2021, which was for the most part a QoL oriented year.

Everyone stating they should focus on other areas, basically don't comprehend how departmentalization of a multimillion dollar company works. Making a new class doesn't mean they pull the server engineers into the 3D art department and have them start working with CAD programs they are unfamiliar with using. I would love to see what new class the janitor had to work on at Pearl Abyss.
CEO: What do you call that?
Janitor: The Toiletnator.
CEO: Hmmm.... I think that name is taken by another IP.
Janitor: Okay... how about Magic Crapper?
CEO: Sounds good, oh by the way, the executive washroom needs cleaning.

New Winter season announced just now on KR starting on the 15th with the class reworks (so 22th for us) no teaser of new class at all just the reworks. Dont give up hope, maybe they will surprise announce it on Calpheon Ball but the possibility of it coming this year is getting less and less likely Missfame.
There are leaks going around about the new class right now. I don't know if posting it here will get me banned so I won't so I'll leave it at that. Pretty disappointed that they are releasing a new class if it's real.

i think new class is good, im just overjoyed with timepiece, its just hella good with with valencia rework I can grind SP,money at the same time on dead seasonal arsha and get a 2nd character 4free

Maybe they will. I know personally I'm not interested in the new class. But I think a lot of others will possibly love the idea of the character. So I'll root for you guys to have your fun!

They need everything at this point.
1. Fix servers
2. Fix desync (lol never will happen but one can dream)
3. Complete existing features in the game (that's maybe 90% of all features remaining)
4. Balance existing classes (Not going well so far)
5. Introduce more skills to existing classes and remove unnecessary skills (WIP)
6. Add new content (2 DLCs have been delayed)
7. Fix ocean content (Delayed for maybe one more year)
8. Fix life skilling (No word on this)
9. Fix the economy (Not holding my breath)
10. Implement PvE only servers to attract casuals and people who just want to relax while life skilling / fishing /RPing
11. Fix PvP / Red player system (Not going well, I don't even know what happened to bounties anymore)
12. Make massive QoL improvements to the game, too many to list here
13. Overhaul the Guild system
14. Overhaul the Main story / quest system (WIP)
15. Make all costumes available to all classes
Then and only then should they consider adding a new class if there's even a need. This game acts like it's in pre-alpha development and yet it's like 6 or 7 years old.

Really 2 dlcs? Is one the snow region? So then what would be the other one?
