Hunting the bears, boars, and elk east of Velia, the boars self heal after I shot them.  They are bullet sponges now, I don't know when the bug/glitch occurred but I just noticed it.  The bear and elk will die but the boars healing up like that make them harder than the bears.

Is there a symbol next to their name? Might be a hunting monster, and will require rifle to kill.

That is what I said, I am hunting them, the elk and the bear.  Wild animals that normally die before I empty my rifle on them.  The wild boars in that area are getting injured then self healing.

Great, now this bug has spread over to some of the elk.  Great job on repairing hunting!  I just love wasting my ammo on bulletsponges, how on Earth did you know my masochistic tendancies Pearl Abyss?

Just to be clear, I am using a +8 sniper rifle and shooting these animals without the scope on them.  Normally they drop dead in one or two hits.  However I shot the great elk EIGHT times and his health replenished between each shot.  I gave up on him and moved on.  Stop giving the wild animals health potions!
