you are playing the wrong MMO, this is a progression-based MMO, plenty of theme parks out there to choose from, wow, ff14, etc.

this is not an MMO this is a hack and slash like diablo but worse because in diablo you can actually play with your friends, there is no dungeons and barely any coperative content, the closer it comes to an MMO is only that you get you ass beaten while grinding at any given time, thats al.

BDO is perfect as it is and your nauseating Themepark ideas you can keep at home on WoW and FF14.

I hate to break it to you OP, but BDO is a korean grinder game, so while devs might introduce some alternative content from time to time, you should expect grinding as the main content.

If you dislike grinding that much, there are plenty of other games to choose from.

You imposed those goals upon yourself and then complained about having to achieve them?

The new areas list several new mechanics of weaking the surrounding mobs etc.  Stars End introduced the Cystals.  The alert system has been updated for Aakman/Hyst.  These are not the most impressive features, but it is an attempt to implement something more than just bland grinding.

Many of the newer group zones also don't allow face tanking mobs.  So Pearl Abyss in many ways is doing exactly what you are claiming they are not.

Also to recap - You wanted the ABSOLUTE BEST equipment in the game, but don't want to accept grinding it out for extended periods of time?  Give up on PVP and enjoy your Rebalth.  Have a nice casual life and play how you want instead of worrying about being tanky in a Korean 1Combo Meta game.

This game is a hardcore grinder and the fact you can be jumped on and being one shoot from anyone at any given second is also a core principle of the game. 

And whoever says, if you can't bear with any of this content you should leave is right! There may parts of this game you in love with, there might parts of the game you dont want to miss and that are unique to bdo but if you can't agree with the games core principles it is so much better to shallow the bitter pill and make a clean cut. Bdo is a lifetime eater and not every human is cut out to feel accomplishment into sinking insane amounts of valueable lifetime into a bottomless grinder wich bdo is at its core. But for those who are cut to like this content, bdo is heaven and its wrong to take it away from them because they came for the content thats here and unlike those who dislike the grind and open world pvp they came for what's been promised to them.

Pearl abyss will also never understand because people who dislike the game say so on the forums but charge a value pack the next day and fashion and dream horses. Thats nothing wrong but it sends the signal that everything is well.  Lip service without hard backup will never make a point. 

Love it or leave it. Everything else is lying to yourself and will become even more bitter when you realize your dreams are just dreams nothing will change and the money spend was spend on a game you dont want to play any longer. Its not about losing or what others think about you when you pull the plug on bdo, its about yourself and what you want and were you can get it.

I really would like more reasons to group with players that aren't grind zones. Dungeons might be just the ticket to bring in a lot of players & build lots of good relationships with friends/randoms. People forget that dungeons don't have to be the holy trinity but they do have to force cooperation and strategy.

I'm quite positive for the future of BDO - seems to be coming along really nicely!

According to PA's trailer, it's about Finding joy in the journey not the Destination.  So have fun grinding in a circle for 8 hours lol.
