The velia wharf is so full of abandoned ship. Some islands too are full of these and it's actually blocking a lot of other active player who wants to do something

So here's my suggestion

1 hour timer, when the character is out of whisper range for full 1 hour, ship will be auto collected. Timer resets on relog + getting in range of ship

If it's within distance to wharf check in, it's auto collected to that wharf

If it's not within range of any wharf, it's treated as remote collection, but in this case the owner will get notification every 5 minutes that need to be pressed to extend timer once it reach 1 hour mark. So no more leaving boat middle of nowhere and just mapping away but also helps those who legit lost their ship

No more "a raft blocked my path", no more overcrowded velia wharf where u cant even mount your own boat

The ship being automatically collected into the closest wharf after an hour of AFK is a good idea.

Excellent idea. I agree with the 1 hour timer, or perhaps even 30 minutes.

I also want to expose my indignation regarding the ships in the ports.

The truth is that sometimes it is practically impossible both to enter and leave them.
People are unable to keep their boat in the wharf, so they stay there in the middle, making it difficult to enter, exit, or even get on or off the boat.

I consider that 10 minutes is enough time to load and unload the ship and even catch and return missions.
After this time the boats should be automatically saved

10 minute is more than enough, given those very reasonable conditions for check in to wharf. 

yeah 10mins is more than enough if the person hasn't checked in their boat AT PORT
