to make this game to run after the character transfer is to redownload the whole game again?

I also heared a lot of people have trouble with their account "even" if they transfered it 1 month ago.

The way i see it is this : spent 2/3 days to download the game > 50% chance to be okay and launch - 50% chance to not launch > if it won't run i'll have to sent ticket to the support > wait untill response > play the game if everything is okay.

Are you playing on Steam? If so, redownloading wouldn't make sense. If you verify the cache, it'll figure out which files to replace.

Yes, they seem to have Steam update issues making you verify the cache and downloading several gigabytes of files again, but it's not necessary to actually reinstall if you use Steam.

The normal procedure is installing the new launcher if you're using the website client then download about 2GB of patch. Redownloading the game is only occuring for some players facing issues.

Got steam. The launcher asks me to fill in mail and username anyway. I don't have a username, cuz steam. Or maybe I do, idk; so I sent 500 tickets about that but.. well, they busy. so i'm furious. literally.

I made a guild and have at least 2 loyal members, otherwise I'd delete and turn my back on this failure. Yes, that's how furious I am. But when it's other people involved, that I've promised we gonna make things happen, it's not that easy; I can't go full tantrum on this. Which makes me even angrier. Until I give up and go to bed.

I'm not familiar with Steam but I'm pretty sure as a Steam user you had to create a Pearl Abyss account including a username which allows you to log in on this website. Have you tried using those credentials in the launcher ?

don't remember it. could be anything. friend told me same. sent them tickets but they don't answer. Idk, I tired of this also. maybe just go. I'm hopeless with these things, so I pay others to solve them for me. which is another reason to leave: this forum. It's littered with bugs and stupid things. who wana write here.

I suggest trying those credentials, they might be the ones your launcher expect. If so it's bingo :D

Also maybe you could chill a bit on support team, they probably work hard trying to solve a lot of tickets about transfer while earning the lowest wages in the company.

Haven't got them. I only have my email, not my username. And I can't send my username to my email, there's no such button. Might be, on the forum, idk, but it can't be used by me. I can push some of the buttons but most of the time it tells me I need a valid account or something.

Ya ya, ofc; tolerance and patience. Naturally. But, that not my problem.

Wait till you get to the fun part when the game crash after Easy Anti Cheat. Coming up to 30 hours of that had 7 hours of the same last week
