I dont know how people continue to afford to buy things from this, The prices are just ridiculous! for digital pixels!!

People must be buying this stuff otherwise we would see some price decreases?

how are you affording this stuff? some stuff is like £75!! and seen stuff on here like over £200!

are people grinding pearls? can you do that? or are people literally spending all thier money on this?

This is an expensive game, not for the poor players...

It's more like the prices are in fact sadly accepted by many players. If players are buying, can we really say it is overpriced? 

I think we can say that its overpriced but I think desire, impatience and wanting it now, now, now overrides critical thinking.

I must say they manage this well, Too many players with too much spare cash! LOL!

alot of the stuff people tend to buy over time or on sale  

course some people tend to just drop $200 at once but thats them (got a few guildies who dropped $200 right after the transfer)

but then again if people have the disposible income thats their choice and their right to spend on their hobbys... and its not even that bad a hobby nor that expensive considering some hobbys out there

my stepdad legit just dropped $600 on his gas powered remote control car this week alone and is planning another $400 next week for couple other parts

Many people have expressed their disagreement about pearl shop prices as soon as BDO released in 2016 but we never got any price reduction ever since beside the regular sales on some items.

The fact is that whales like myself pay for a lot of other players. They know they can make more money from whales than the general public.

The same happens in all other B2P or F2P MMO's like GW2 that I play. I also pyschologically convinced myself that I am paying a tax to keep other people playing that do not have the opportunities I have...  Weird how we all percieve things.

The p2w here shaves off a lot of time. People have jobs, so they can't play, but make up for that lost time by paying IRL money to keep up. Artisans, costumes for silver, etc. I don't do costume melting or direct costume to silver because I can't justify the cost and the silver I get for it. 335 million is NOT worth $30 IMO, I'd rather play active for an hour or two than spend $30. Though, I did buy a $200 Usd Pearl Box to support the game post transition. I'll spend it whenever I feel like it, not in a rush though. And yes. I have a job/career.

People are spending money for enjoyment and personal satisfaction, in the end.

Problem is, where's the limit to satisfaction in a game with never ending progression?

I see the problem in "Getting the full experience of the game if you buy this and that". because there no information saying you need a VP for the market etc. when you buy the game. You only know this, when you played for some time.

We are getting a lot of stuff for free and my guess is that's why the prices are higher in the Pearl Shop and will get higher over time.
