I don't deny that there are those trolls you mentioned. I've seen such even myself. Happened to me too, while I left one of my own toons to afk ride from point A to point B twice or thrice(few of them trolls don't even exist anymore in the game). It was happening like once in the year not literally. But what can I do? I can't shift the game's aims and ideas. I accepted what it is and made peace with it. I've been in both pvp and pve games before(or multiplayer co-op). When I went to those games I wanted to find out, on what ideas they were made.

In this case, if there is a solution and it does not impact other that don’t wish to partake it in, does not give an advantage to them that wish too (e.g. Reduced drop rewards, and as with normal and arsha, life skills have always been unaffected – went over this) Then I don’t see why it should not be up for discussion.
Maybe it will take more resources, but that’s a worry for PA, and maybe they can look at statistics and ‘sales’ and make a best guess to, is it worth it. Maybe these life skiller spend cash in game too?

Addition; the part you put in red. This has nothing to do with greed (don’t forget BDO is a business, design for profit before the game ends)… I’m point out that such players are just are valued (humanising the subject, making them relatable to you..i hoped), opinions should be respected and listen too… Then is up to PA to decide if they wish to act.

There are people who will not even try this game because of PVP. This game is awesome. It's got everything. I came over from WoW back when the Summer season started and the ONLY think I hate about this game (other than enhancing) is the PVP aspect. I'm mainly a Lifeskiller and have been PK'd several times. It's a pain in the ass and the prospect of being ganked out in the woods in my gathering gear is NO FUN!!! Just create 1 PVE only server and you watch how fast it fills up. I think you will be surprised at the demand. The only people that will be agains PVE only servers are the PK'rs looking for easy targets.

Filling up a channel with a buncha Tom, Dick, an Harrys, that cant repect the games mechanincs is not healthy for this type of game. Especially when introducing such a conveniant path of progression for free is completely against their business model. Charging for conveniance.

On open world game with involuntary pk.
Id prefer more quality players that paid more, and drove competition, then a greater quantity of players fishing, kill stealing and taking up a whole another channel that should be dedicated to more competitve elvia realms.

Meanwhile, the most profitable/successful MMO's in NA/Europe make most of their money off of Costmetics and Quality of Life features. You can only bleed a certain time of player base so much, it's time to expand providing new opportunities for cash flow.

PA actually force players to run the game 24/7 hence burn that connection money you speek for no benefit for them.
Running a gameserver is dirt cheap. It's literately so cheap compared to how much money they make on it that it's pointless to even talk about it.

PA starts getting a massive influx of players freemieuming their way to 700 GS, then its gonna be a problem.
The first channel gets full instantly then what? whats the next demand? convert more right? Players already have issues finding grind spots in elvia channels. So take away more regular channels, or create more..that cost $$$. $$ they wont ever see a return on, unless they charge manditory monthly fees..which everyone has made known they hate.

That's not how getting players in a game works. If it would be this easy to just give muh 700gs to everyone, then every game would do that.

You misunderstood what i typed. I didnt say PA would give out free 700gs, I said people would abuse all the free aspects of the game trying to get to 700 gs. "freemium playstyle". Fishing everywhere, kill stealing with impunity, Boats parked everywhere, horse trainers running amuk, just a solid mess. A virus that would demand a channel for every 4 players in a grind spot.
