PA,
After playing for 6+ years (I played Korean BDO before it was released on NA/EU), it occurs to me that I don't really like the NA region. I feel EU is way more active at this point in time and I would like to transfer all of my characters/items/etc. to EU so I don't have to regrind it all out. Could we implement a system where you could pay say, 100 USD to transfer all of your account to another region a maximum of 2 times over the lifetime of your account? One time to see if you like it and one time to swap back if you don't.
It was brought up in Discord chat that this could be abused by players buying high value items on NA and transferring them to EU for quick profits, which I suggest be mitigated by making any region-swapped account that buys an item from the central market have that item region bound to their account on their new region and if they swap back to their origional region it would no longer be sellable.
I feel that if a player is not satisfied with the community in the region they originally chose, they shouldn't be forced to play on that region or quit, nor forced to re-grind everything they already spend their life grinding on their original region. We are already going to have a cross region tournament between Russia and EU, so why can't we just allow swapping between regions?
The argument is BS, there is not that large difference in price between the regions to make swaping worth it, and they could put CD on it anyways.
On the other hand it would require way more effort from technical and legal aspect than what PA would willing to invest into it, so your idea have basically no chance that ever happen tbh.
