The 22nd update is basically a nerf for most classes other than Striker. Most of us are trying to get all our BDO exposure in before that date because it's basically an "F U we hate our customers" update that brings nothing good and only bad.

Don't care about junky RP crap that just fills up my inventory and makes me have to delete it. I was referring to the actual experience of the world (you know, part of the game we play and try to enjoy). Not sure why they took it out... no reason to start it ON Christmas. We don't put out our Christmas trees and lights on Christmas day.

while i do enjoy the xmas stuff  specially the year we had santa flying over citys dropping gifts.. main thing we might run into is that for korea  Xmas isnt that big a holiday  to them its actually more of valentines day with santa  most koreans tend to live in apartments so decorating outside isnt that common outside of malls and such and at most its usualy just a tree inside and some decor.. normaly they spend time with their partner not family  for xmas   so while i do hope for the flying santa over veila again...  i do respect the fact its a korean company and i wont force them to try to do our holiday.. its just rude to do that honestly

You don't think it rude that they take your money but ignore your customs and expectations?

So the claim is that Kakao was providing a sort of cultural localization service among its other activities?  What other differences about that transition are there that weren't called out explicitly? Would have been nice to have a had a list of "things we will continue, things we won't, things we will do new".  I don't know if the issue is with the customers not being mindful of the game's origins so much as the game's orginators not being mindful of its customers. Whether that's willful or not, and justified or not, is another discussion.

There is a sense in which creative works are internally driven and should keep true to whatever that is. On the other hand, sometimes the consumers can reflect that vision back to the creators when they seem to have lost their way.  As for changing visions, and possible sources for that, I don't know that "democratic features" will end well. I seem to recall a childhood story about that sort of thing.

It is apparent, however, that the net result of that transition was a changed "product", and that is resulting in disappointment. It won't happen overnight, but a changed product will eventually find a different audience - or not. Maybe PA is ok with that. As for players - maybe the game's best days for this audience are behind it.  Still very playable though.

Uhhh.....all classes are going to get massive buffs.  Every class' PvE performance will increase, if you want to place a bet, let's bet.

Keep an eye out over the coming weeks as players plug their numbers (hopefully honest numbers) into Garmoth.com's grind tracker.  Every class WILL see an increase in TL.  We will see which classes come out on top, but fact of the matter is, every class (edit: getting tweaked) is getting damage buffs.

They could make it a western thing and leave it out of the KR version. 

You know, seeing that the West (particaularly NA) makes them the most money.

Christmas in 2015 was the best BDO Christmas ever, why would PA go away from that ?!?!?!?!??!?!

Although snow on the ground could have be done better than just adding shine to everything. Actual snow is not hard to do graphic...
