Stuck at Softcap, not feeling like grinding like a TGN member to get that PEN Blackstar or Dead god armor.  Grinding in Orcs suck, every other grind zone seems pointless or not worth the time travelling there.

This game done?  Even if i get a few PEN Blackstar pieces, i'll still be grinding in the same Hadum areas since they are close to Heidel.    By the time those Class "reboots" show up most of the players are gone.

Logging in to the game and you look at those 12 Dark Rifts you need to do and by the time you finish all of it, your so bored out of your mind you don't login for another week lol.

I'm just afk fishing until Wukong release ^^

You play too much.

You don't have to grind all the time.

You don't have to do 12 dark rifts in one go.

You don't have to go beyond soft cap.

Play the game moderately and take breaks.

That's like working 90 hours per week and telling us you think you work too much.

Well no *&^%.

Exactly, why do you treat the game like a part/full time job? Silver per hour doesn't matter that much. What happened to fun per hour? There is so much to do in BDO. If you have to work - work on your knowledge, energy, lifeskill, make a ship, PvP, contribution points, log books,  etc.

I not remember when was the last time when I had fun in bdo.

Also what you listed as to do is literally "how to waste your life". In wow you can atleast flex with your pointless achievement points, but noone ever see or cares about how much knowledge points/energy do you have in bdo, especially that it's a mindless grinding. You can't even inspect other players in the first place kek.

PvP could be fun, but the balance is so shit +terrible engine, it's a meme, even in terms of mmo PvP.

Logs are actually good content, tho you are forced to do them anyway as they give stats, and it doesn't even took that long to do them.

Hey, that's work I've listed there, lol, not fun activities. Make up your own fun🤣, although PvP could be fun, depends. Also playing any game falls into "how to waste your life" category.

I want grind them but .... it's no fun because it doesn't get me any closer to my goal. Even infinity potions are pointless because still based on rng and too low drop. BDO does not even encourage me to play 1 hour in the private zone. Why? No experience, I won't even get half a percent. No money, from trash I will reach 80-100m where the best items cost 80b and now even 200b. Sometimes in an hour I don't get a single piece for treasure. I used 2000 energy on the steppe and ... not a single part.

Conclusion: grind it's ok, but a pointless grind makes no sense.

This is exactly it actually. But I just decided to take a break. Currently enjoying a whole other game besides bdo. I'll come back when it feels worth my time again

In MMOs typically there are subcultures, but BDO kinda doesn't. There are some RP groups and some groups that are into decorating houses but let's face it, it's not what it could be.

1. Bard Subculture

We have Shai, she's cute and she's a great bard but the subculture around this is lacking. You do get on occasion someone playing dio's theme song or something in Heidel but what's going on with this as a whole? What can PA do to make it better? I tried composing music before and after 30 minutes I lost all of my progress and gave up. The editor is absolutely atrocious and I wish we could import midi because it was a horrible experience. I think that could be one thing that they could look into at least. Being able to connect your real instrument to the game would also be amazing. There could be live concerts.

2. Housing / Decorating

Presently if you own a house it costs a lot of CP. Maybe owning houses shouldn't cost CP? If you give players a reason to decorate, players will decorate. I honestly would like to decorate but don't have the CP to dedicate. This is a big loss since PA could sell a lot more decorative pearl items too. Decoration in FF14 and ESO is absolutely end-game fun. It's not in BDO and the crafting part of it needs a huge revision. The mats should not cost more than the item itself. Fix that and you fix a lot of problems.

3. Roleplaying and Mysteries

Sure, there are UwU RP groups out there but that's not what I'm talking about. RPing is more than just pretending to be something you are not, it's going out on adventures with fellow adventurers, exploring the unknown and being the first to find secrets and mysteries. The best we have is global chat where players talk politics all day. What exactly pushes players to be more into the lore and mysteries of the game? What gets players excited to be part of the world they are playing? Figuring this out would develop such a great subculture, BDO is plenty big but it's void of excitement.

4. Social Connections

This game promotes solo play a lot and it might never change. However, that doesn't mean there can't be things that bring players together. Other games often have a subculture of connections. Are you great at ocean navigation? Know your ways around gathering? Are you an expert crafter? Getting the community to support each other and even pit each other for various competitive reasons is important. There is arena now, great. Now what?

5. Other subcultures

What other subcultures can come from BDO? This is important to think about because without subcultures, there's nothing to do once you complete all the quests and reach level 62. Get better gear? For what exactly? Mindlessly grinding all day every day in a circle? Sure, some people like it. But there has to be substance, there has to be different things that appeal to other people. Just grinding and playing casino isn't going to cut the cheese long-term. It's great for a few months but beyond that it's repetivive and absolutely boring for most. That's why I think having a small team dedicated to improving subcultures and immersive experiences to be vital in a MMORPG, but maybe I'm wrong? Who knows... What do you guys think?

1. Bard Subculture

We have Shai

New content for Shai: pay 100m x times.

Shai craftable outfits: mats cost more then max market price.

2. Housing / Decorating

New Mansion content: pay fee and next hundreds of millions for decorations.

Conclusion: both do not exist for me.
