The current passives for nodewars that give +25 DP are a complete mess . There are way too many melee classes and way too few ranged classes , so it is quite easy to make a choice here and choose melee but that means that all the melee classes get this "nerf" which includes both underperforming classes and Fotm (flavour of the month) classes.
I suggest this passive to be reworked all together and let us choose any 3-4 classes that we want to get +25 DP against instead so all those fotm classes get the debuff thus making people less likely too choose fotm and increase class diversity in nodewars.
Refund all medals to the players that bought the passives and make the +25DP passive against each individual class cost 100 medals ( total 2300+ if you want to have all passives but you can only pick 3-4 to use at the same time ).
PS. Might as well just remove all damage types and merge them into one , so no more magic ,ranged , melee ap - just ap

We have tons modifiers : class modifiers , melee/ranged/magic dr , skill modifiers and so on . Balancing bdo by changing skills and kit alone won't be possible considering the amount of classes we have.
There will always be some hard matchup for X class but Y class has no issue dealing with it , that's where modifiers should theoretically help adress this issue.
In nodewards you have 75% of the composition same 4 classes , but those are not that great in 1vs1 scenarious so adding that +DP for certain classes might help in largescale.

I agree with OP, we need to reevaluate this one.
I'd like for this passive to be everywhere. On node war I value magic dp, but in open world I would love melee dp. Giving us more freedom to choose what dp we have advantage for, in all areas of the game, allows us to shape our own balance and more nimbly react to and shift the meta.
