Below are some of the quality of life improvements I'd like to see for Shai after the very awesome reworks we've had recently.
I also have included a short explanation for some of the suggestions.
-
Why the changes to Delusive Light and Misty Haze?
> This allows us to consistently apply the debuffs to every pack while grinding, without having to use janky mechanics or having to wait for cooldowns.
Why the changes to Try This?
> Try This has been a great addition to our kit for pve, reducing the cooldown to 5 seconds will make it match with the cooldown of Twirl-Boom, which are often used together.
Why the changes to Yippee! and Hop?
> We'd like to be able to rely on Yippee! as our main movement skill, currently the high cooldown of 15 seconds makes it a bit frustrating to rely on consistently, especially at lower to mid- game grind spots and while lifeskilling.
> Adding a flow to hop to be able to flow into Yippee! would be a great addition, as it gives us a tiny bit more protection off-cooldown and allows us not to waste any time by cancelling the start of the animation
Why the changes to One-Two-Three?
> The last attack on one-two-three is currently an unbalanced trade off, since it's a full animation lock and unprotected but also gives us the highest crit rate, adding super armor of frontal guard to it will make it more usable.
> Both existing spots (like stars end) and future spots (like in the snow region) have core mechanics around down-attacks that Shai can't take any advantage of since we lack any down-attack in our kit, the addition of a down-attack would also compliment our new skill "Try This!" a lot since it's a pve float.
Why the changes to Come Out, Come Out?
> This skill is currently not used much due to its high cooldown, however it's a great addition in pve to pull large area of mobs, lowering the cooldown will make it much more usable.
Why the changes to Gather Around!?
> This skill is mainly used while lifeskilling but is frustrating to use at spots like lions due to its low damage, it's also frustrating to use while gathering mobs such as wolves due to the high cooldown.
Why the changes to Earth's Tremble?
> Matches the cooldown on our other bongo skill "Sun's Fury", this will make it more viable for cancels and alternating between bongo attacks while performing Forest's Echo.

Awesome suggestions. I agree with them all.
The only thing I'd add is that Shai needs their passive skills reworked.

Thank you for your support! I agree that our passives should be reworked however this seems more like a large change than quality of life type changes.
What kind of passives would you like to see for Shai? I'll see if we can submit that feedback during any future ART discussions.
Great feedback as always, Pet!
One more thing that I think is worth mentioning is Go!, which can be frustrating to use at stun-heavy spots. I don't think this skill needs super armour or fg - that would be too much - but being able to cancel the skill or reducing the time you're locked into the animation would be a welcome improvement.
