I was commenting on the fact that it was absurd to take the so-called "bad controls" of Halloween minigames as a reference when these controls were working. It makes sense, unlike your own post.
Then you got all worked up and spewed nonsense about these controls. I know how it worked back then, I did these minigames day one even before the hotfix you mentioned, you don't, and that's all.
If you knew how many players were complaining about red light, green light when they were playing without the sound... Serious? XD
Now follow your own advice and go back to the game, instead of talking about something you don't know.
controls = sound, eh PEBKAC.

Yeah, clearly, not knowing that you must hear something to play a game like red light, green light, is a PEBKAC issue.
Hopefully I was here to remind it to others, and strangely they managed to clear this game on day 1, right after that. CRAZY HMMM?
Bottom line, no reason to complain about Halloween minigame controls, those were working right from the start. As I said. And I'm right about it.

If they were working right from the start, why did they hotfix them? Your logic is pretty twisted.
I agree, the controls are unusable for some fish (presumably the 10M fish?) There's no way to move the mouse fast enough or in tiny enough circles to counter that. Certainly not with just 30 practice tries. Was this designed to be played on console with a controller and joystick?
Agree with OP, it's another cool concept, but poorly implemented...this is quite a common thing with KR games, tbf, so I'm not surprised.
The spinning is horrid and should be a spam click if anything. After failing multiple times due to I have no idea? I spin the mouse in the direction noted, fast, and again at the speed of the rotating arrows to see if thats the issue, but the fish just keeps going/doing whatever and failure ensues.
well gave me 30 rods to use and the game is not hard if you learn to spin it slow and took 20 rods to get 2 of each fish to get the 3 quest done and the dice from the quest and the Ancient spirit Dust got me 122 caphras Stone so i do not see a problem here.
Oh I don't know, over all I had a good day. I went ice fishing and caught a baby llama. I sailed my fishing boat to Port Ratt for the first time, after my friend bragged how he swam there as his mermaid. I bred myself a tier six horse, now currently AFK training it. So over all a pretty decent day.
My only complaint about the ice fishing is about the location. The area is heavily hunted (great elk) by myself and others. There was a bit of PvP going on and this is distracting when trying to focus on clockwise is down and counter-clockwise is up. I think the developers were thinking of PS4 controller thumbsticks and not a PC mouse at all. Now my wrist hurts and I think PA should pay my medical bills. I really wouldn't complain, if they locked the area anti-PvP for the event. I went through roughly 50 poles most of those learning the controls, but hey they were free.
Have fun!
I hate this fishing game, sometimes it works just fine but other times no matter what you do the fish just runs.
I'm also on my 2nd stack of 30 rods and still dont have a single frosty smelt, are they even ingame?

I was down to needing the salmon and felt the same. But all three fish are in there. I also took a short break between pole packs to grab something from the kitchen.
Have fun!

If they were not working, how could players finish the mini-game even before the hotfix?
Where did your read that something was preventing players from finishing Red light, green light?
And above all, we talked about 2 mini games, you said controls were broken, so where is the hotfix for the house of horrors?
The only twisted thing here is your excessive will to be right. For getting angry like that at my word, it's pretty obvious that you were one of those players not willing to spend some minutes on the mini-games back then and blaming the controls for their own failure.
Call me next time! Have a nice day! XD
