They were not bad.
The jack was going wherever you wanted, only the random ghost was potentially a threat.
Red light, green light was also easy with the sound on, you simply had to stop moving right before she stopped singing. And she was singing the exact same "words", but a different speed.
Clearly a pebkac situation.
You are not addressing the points i made. He was going where you wanted sure but if you were going forward and had to go back or make a sharp turn you could not do that without circlejerking the controls.
Red light green light I said CONTROLS not the singing girl. When you stopped you had to start mashing the buttons like crazy somtimes or risk being thrown out.

... But if the controls were so precise, was there still an interest to the mini game? If you needed to suddenly go back, why didn't you use the "oh shit" button allowing you to jump back and play dead?
Those controls were intended.
And about red light, green light, the UI was appearing when the girl stopped singing. If you were still moving at this moment, even slightly, the commands were hard to follow. But if you were already standing still when the UI appeared, you had much more time to know what to do and do it correctly.
For sure, if you were running and trying to stop only when the UI appeared, it was nearly impossible. But that was not a mini game issue, the song and the commands were closely linked, as expected in such a game.

What are you talking about. "Let's make the controls intentionaly bad because players won't enjoy it otherwise" ...? Man you'd fit right in there.
The look dont look minigame started when you stopped moving. You could stop while the girl was singing and have the minigame start before she turned around.
I'm glad there is a player on this forum i.e. You that enjoyed it. I didn't. And i did both every week. The point was not that it's undoable, the point was that the idea was good but their implementation for it wasn't
Impresion of halloween event - annoying
Impression of ice fishing event - annoying

If the controls are to precise, you may even lose the interest of the minigames, making it to easy. That was exactly the case for the house of horrors.
So the controls of Halloween minigames were not bad, you simply didn't like them and missed an important part of one of the game.
All is said.

In my opinion they were bad. I explained why i think that. You say that was intended. You dont't work for PA. You don't know that. All is said.
If they were not working, how could players finish the mini-game even before the hotfix?
Where did your read that something was preventing players from finishing Red light, green light?
And above all, we talked about 2 mini games, you said controls were broken, so where is the hotfix for the house of horrors?
The only twisted thing here is your excessive will to be right. For getting angry like that at my word, it's pretty obvious that you were one of those players not willing to spend some minutes on the mini-games back then and blaming the controls for their own failure.
Call me next time! Have a nice day! XD
A day later and you're still mad kiddo, and still spouting your bull**** that you obviously have no clue about. Have a nice day PEBKAC.
