After trying to find a good Lahn video what explains in detail what skill is important and what skill-addon to put on it and what combination of skills, one by one, you use on mobs, I stoped looking, cause you mostly find 2 versions of videos:
1. generic panoramic video whit no UI with music and no text where you see someone fully geared and buffed killing mobs easily. (Teaching value: zero to 0.01).

2. A generic class guide where people first explain what skills you have but at the end then fail to explain how to combine them or what rotation is important or what makes them special with skill-addons. And mostly its outdated guides where the skills are either renamed or not working as shown anymore.

Which leaves you to only to try and error. Whic probalby half of people here went through and when a new players comes in asknig for help they dont want them to have it easier so they toss him only small bones as well.

I guess I need to find out at least two or three combinations of skills to make max damage and check it with what setup I have.

I did some random changes yesterday and just used a combination I found by accident and my damage was very different. (in a good way).

I dont know yet if its the sequencing only or something else.

Only time will tell.

Community just sucks at explaining things but I get it, it takes a shit ton of patience and a shit ton of effort to explain those things.

The whole community is not on the forum, so it'd be cool if you didn't lump everyone in by saying "the community sucks at explaining things".  You probably won't like my answer and I'm not expecting you to think like me / do what I did.  But here's my story anyway.

I mained Sorc since launch and after I returned to the game right around the tail-end of Mediah release.  This was before add-ons and before I had a solid grasp on the class.  What I did was, well, play and learn.  I tried to self-teach myself through practice and through hours of grinding.  Hours of PvP; open world, GvG, node wars, etc.  That wasn't enough, I still found myself getting bodied and my silver per hour wasn't where I thought it should be.  Then, I discovered Macilus.  Watching him play Sorc in PvE and PvP was nothing short of amazing -- there was sooo much I was missing!  His mechanical prowess amazed me, so, I watched him play.  Didn't even know what Sorc was capable of.  Picked his brain and kept his stream on my 2nd monitor and practiced.  I avoided YouTube guides for a while, but after gaining some better understanding of the class, I looked up guides and read up on all Sorc's skills, learning what they do and how they flow / interact.  This helped as well.  I'm currently doing this on Awakened Striker.

So, my best advice would be to self-practice and find an experienced Lahn player on Twitch.  Pick their brain while you learn.  Ask for tips, and if you feel like tipping or subbing to them as well, they'd surely appreciate it.  I recommend Kugels, super geared EU Lahn who has a ton of experience playing the class.  Ask her for advice, I'm sure she'd love to help.

Thats exactly what I meant with that I did my own research and watched endless youtube guides and started testing on my own.

You have to see it from a different perspective too. Not eveyone has endless time to watch twitch streams every day on second monitor and pratice for hours and days something that would take like 5 minutes to explain.

I didnt ask for being best in PvP, I just wanted to find out what do I need to change to grind better at high AP spots. That's all.

I barely have 1hour per day to login to BDO and do the usual chores, yet to find the time to test something out.

My standards might be too high for a gaming forum but just for an example we have 5 pages here and the only one who came close to go into detail and explaining the correlation between skill rotation and skill addons was your first reply here and maybe one or two who just said:"Rotation is important".
Yeah great. Rotation is important, now give me an example of your Lahn rotation whit naming the skills you use in order and which addons you attached to them so I can absorb your setting and see if this changes something for me or not. Cause then Id be able to see if thats my problem or not.

I mean for an experienced player it shouldn't be a problem to type down 5 skillnames and in () what addon thy have on them.

for example:

I open mobs with skill1 (addon1) -> skill2 (addon2) -> skill3 (addon3) -> and so on

and when going to next group I go into this rotation: skill1 (addon1) -> skill2 (addon2) -> and so on.

I will never know if my settings are good if I dont try someone elses and see which one performs better. (his or mine). And I just dont have the time nor the stamina to test hundreds of combinations. I just dont have that luxuary.

As a Lahn player, let me help you a little with the Awakening kit. I'm not going into detail as there's a LOT to learn about optimizing your grind, but let's start with the important skills:

Movement

Shift+W: A quick double dash forward. Heals a little, and is great for quickly moving between mob packs.

Shift+A/D: A quick move sidewards. Goes through enemies. Has invincibility when off cooldown, super armor otherwise. Great for repositioning or evading attacks.

Shift+S: A small jump backwards. A little slow, but invincible. Great for positioning attacks with a forward cone or escaping a tough situation.

Shift+Space: After a short run-up, jump and walk in the air for a short time. Can be extended by holding shift. Hit LMB or F to instantly crash down to the floor. The run-up can be skipped by activating this skill after one of the above listed movement skills.

Pre-buffs

W+RMB: AP pre-buff.

RMB: Attack speed pre-buff.

Shift+F: DP pre-buff. Can be extended by holding LMB.

Attacks

S+RMB: Deals huge damage. Hold down the buttons to extend the duration a little.

LMB+RMB: DP debuff to mobs. Hold down to flow into Mangler, dealing good damage in a wide aoe in front and a little behind you.

Shift+RMB: Deals absolutely insane damage, especially if you hold it to let it flow into Vice. Ideally, you use this behind the mobs when they are DP debuffed.

W+F: A forward spin to deal damage in aoe and recover some WP.

Shift+LMB: An easy attack with mediocre damage, but wide aoe. Restores WP and HP while using.

Shift+Q: Unprotected, but also deals some damage. The wind-up can be skipped by using this skill right after some of the other attacks.

Before grinding:

Make sure your setup, consumables and other preparables are in order:

- Skill add-ons

- Simple cron meal

- Church buffs

- Tent buff

- If grinding close to Heidel: Carolin buff

- Alchemy stone

- Loot buff

- Eventual extra scrolls (XP, skill points, etc)

- Potions and Fairy

- Pets on agile

Hopefully this helps! By no means this guide is perfect, but I intend to give you some true help to get you started. Eventually, when you get this all under control, you can finetune everything according to your preferred play style.

The best way to learn is through practice.  I only have one day of the week, Sunday, to play BDO, other days I have 1-2 hours of active gametime.  Been like this for over 10 years with my gaming/work/life schedule.  I incorprated watchng an experienced Sorc player while playing, simultaneously, and learned through time, practice, and hunger to git gud.  I didn't watch guides, or need step 1, 2, 3 instructions.  Guess we're just simply of a different breed.  good luck learning Lahn.  I hear she's one of the easiest classes to PVE with, so shouldn't be a problem.
