PA does not enable player2player trading because they never wanted it to be a part of the game. The same reason why instance based games don't have open world.

To make it clear, it was not disabled because of rmt or scamers. The "limited" player trading we have was added in an beta phase (korean closed beta) because alot of players wanted a way to support their friends with healing potions during long grinds. Before this there was no player trading at all. So they added the option to trade potions and buff food. But after it was added it was abused alot. Which confirmed PA in their decision not to implement player trading. They also did not wanted to remove it completly and added more restrictions (eg. traded items became unsellable).

Not really. Time has showed us that any possibility would be exploited with RMT. SMH redistribution, "gifts" and so on. 

If you knew all of the past abuses in BDO, you would see that Catastigma is realistic. Sadly.

Trading in BDO?  Hehe ... there would be so much hacking botting and gold spam it would be crazy.

Not to mention RTM between players ... you think it wouldn't happen?

Back in 2016 only thing you could trade to other players were hp / mp pots .... chinese gold sellers were selling POTs to funnel silver from one account to another.

People trade buy and sell silver with the guild mechanics so umm nothing new here 
You can buy all the stuff with silver so i guess there is trade between players ofcorse for real money witch is illegal but people still do it :D

Trading being disabled has nothing to do with what is in the best interest of the player.

The only purpose it serves is allowing Pearl Abyss to charge outrageous fees in the cash shop.

What is staggering is the amount of people that are just straight out delusional.

People are talking about RMT but fail to understand that the cash shop facilitates the very same function a thrid party seller would.

The only difference is that Pearl Abyss are the ones setting the prices. 

Being able to spend money to buy pearls, which in turn can be used to buy costumes that you can either sell or melt down. Or artisans memories which in essence gives you an 80% repair fee discount. Isn't that different from paying a 3rd party for goods & services.

The main difference is the huge markup they can charge being the only 'legitimate' seller.

Black Desert Online is just a glorified mobile game, the vast majority of social experiences in the game are antisocial because they all revolve around competing for something. Whatever it is, grinding,gathering,hunting the presence of another player negatively affects your game experience (So much for being an MMORPG). The only means of progression is gambling. And because of that you will never be able to compete on an even playing field.

Anyways.. this product is a joke and an ingenious social experiment.

Bold thing to say from someone who claims their pearl shop items were gifted. Why don't you swipe your own credit card and progress  through the pearl shop on your own? Hypocrisy?

If this was truly MMORPG there would be free economy and player trading. Period.

It's my own business what do I want to do with my silver. I grinded for it.

Eve online, GW2, WoW, FFXIV are fine. But PA tries to control and restrict everything and it shows incompetence.

Their solution does nothing, people will just buy accounts that was cheated on or buy bots that would be malware as well.
